It’s that time of year for us to dog fight about who’s college team is better.
Best way to start it out IMO is with the preseason coaches poll that just dropped:
Preseason Coaches Poll
1.Ohio State
2.Oregon
3.Georgia
4.Texas
5.Notre Dame
6.Indiana
7.Miami
8.Texas A&M
9.Oklahoma
10.Ole Miss
11.Alabama
12.Texas Tech
13.LSU
14.USC
15.BYU
16.Michigan
17.Penn State
18.Tennessee
19.Washington
20.SMU
21.Utah
22.Iowa
23.Clemson
24.Houston
25.Missouri
We all know who are backing after that last few years but the 2026 season is almost upon us.
For my own part, this year is special I’m attending my first home game ever at ND on 9/12.

Im not worried who the best college qb is but one thing I'd point out is the Heisman very rarely goes to the best player so I, myself wouldn't use that as a tool in my argument

Last year’s definitely went to the best player and future NFL Hall of Famer.

Flag worthy, IMO.
Hey, NFL, emptying the tank is flag worthy, not filling it.
What a stupid, moron kid. After the sack act like you're pissing. What the f[raiders_icon]ck is wrong with people to think that would be acceptable? and to think it would be cool. All it does is make him look like a sub-human brainless idiot.

Wonder how many of these awards he is still being considered for...
Before the 2026 season, Simmons was named to the Lott Trophy, Bronko Nagurski Trophy, Wuerffel Trophy, Lombardi Award, Walter Camp Award, and Chuck Bednarik Award watchlists. He was also named to the preseason All-SEC first team and preseason All-American first team. After Week 2, Simmons was named to the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team, which honors 22 college football players for extraordinary commitment to community service. From Wiki

Ambulance came to the field to transport him to the hospital. No word yet on his condition, though he did appear to be conscious when he left.

And did you see the disgusting way the player from SC who cheapshotted him acted afterwards? f[raiders_icon]cking piece of shit sc player was smiling and acting all badass, plus getting high fives from a number of players and people on sc's sideline, absolutely f[raiders_icon]cking disgusting. That sc pos should be kicked off the team and the others that celebrated with him suspended, but of course that won't happen.
The Oregon coach looks like he is ready to kill some people.

I have always been an admirer of Iowa's football program. I loved their win over Michigan today, especially the manor in which they won it.
ANF!
