NO! We needed Chip Kelly to secure our 3rd overall pick.

But on a serious note, Chip Kelly called the plays that had Tre Tucker wide open, it's not Chips fault Geno is trash and couldn't get it to him. Any competent QB gets Tre Tucker 150+ yards and 2 TDs.

IMO, the main issue with Chip Kelly is the behind-the-scenes stuff, like putting JPJ in the doghouse.

Then the new, err, very old head coach says...we are in win now mode, only to gaslight Raider players and fans alike with his patent Pete Carrol bullshit...goes on to fire most everybody in the secondary because they don't fit grandpa's analytics as a player, hire's his kid who totally mismanage the O-line, hires is retread QB from his Seattle days, fires his ST coordinator because of his incompetence, then fires his OC while totally ignoring the fact he is the architect of this Zeppelin.

Anyone who thinks this f[raiders_icon]cking monkey who should keep his job is as clueless as he is. And all those giddy that the Raiders losing is great because they get a higher pick are high themselves thinking it's going to make a difference. Get real.

That would have worked for me, but Mark and/or Tom still would have given Pete final say on personnel, so it might not have mattered.

Head coach having last word on personnel is the problem. It didn’t work (in the draft) with Gruden, it’s not working with Pete. The last time a GM had final say for the Raiders was McKenzie who, in 2016, put together one of the better Olines Raiders have had. Until Mark realizes this, never going to get anywhere.

Yep. This could be catastrophic for us. Teams have been able to study our tendencies, but now we'll roll out something different and possibly stumble into another win or two.

We really should've kept it all intact until the end of the season.
