If OBJ gets cut do we kick the tires. I know he’s washed a bit but is he still better than what we have?

I'd lean towards no, his career stats are very front loaded:

DT’s:
BUF Zion Logue, 6’6”, 325, 25yo
Never heard of him, but that’s a big son’ova’gun.
MIN Taki Taimani, 6’1”, 324, 26yo.
Maybe Kubiak knows if he was worth a damn.
WR’s:
Denzel Mims, 6’3” 207, 28yo.
Big. I recognize his name. ‘Bout it.
Hakeem Butler, 6,5”, 227, 30.
Bigger. I think I recognize his name.

48 Hours to get to the 53 man roster will be very hard for all 32 teams!

Why? He has averaged less than 300 yards a season. I know we could use a WR but he has shown nothing

Take it for what it's worth as I just saw it on Facebook. Although I wouldn't doubt it and expected it
The #Raiders have released UDFA QB Jacob Clark, per sources. NFL is very busy today but so far Vegas is quiet with just expected moves.

Yeah, I think one underperforming former Tennessee Volunteer is enough. Though Thornton’s days are numbered too.

Hakeem Butler was a guy I really wanted in the draft. Shows what I know.

I’d take a shot with him although he has been hit & miss he has been f’d over in the league by the “smartest guy in the room” thinking
Why do you take an elite run stuffing college NT & try to make him into a pass rushing 3-tech when his skillset just doesn’t fit with that
If he can get somewhere & get some purchase as a run stuffing NT then he is young enough that he can turn things around
This would be an old school misfit Raider low risk high reward kinda of signing

I don’t know; do we stay with what we got and let them learn from playing a season or do we sign Odell who will be starter for raiders…but he only be one season signing…
I really don’t think the raiders are going to do anything this year and maybe getting 6 wins would be a plus and going the right way…

The goal is to improve the roster long term. We are not in the hunt this season so Beckham would be a wasted move. Grab young guys who have potential and leave the older guys alone. Play the long game.
