Lions look pretty depleted and even prior to all the injuries it seemed like they aren’t the same without Johnson.

Awesome game from start to finish. Falcons were eliminated last week. The "tank" theory takes yet another hit with the Falcons winning. Down 28 to 14 in the 4th to pull out the win. Apparently the entire NFL hasn't bought into the tank theory if last week wasn't enough proof

The Falcons traded their first round pick to the Rams so a loss doesn't help them, it helps the Rams.

The "tank" theory takes a hit every year as some bad team wins a meaningless game down the stretch. It usually happens to multiple teams after people say "these 4-5 teams aren't gonna win another game" sometime in early-mid December.

It is because teams do not tank.

Be real, no one is going to tank to go from pick 39 to pick 35.

Be real nobody tanks. It's a silly fan theory people have run with for fun.

Players don't tank. They play for performance bonuses, for pride, for their teammates, and especially for future contracts.
Besides, slowing up in a pro football game is a sure way to get injured.
It's balls to the wall, all the way for the players.
