Plus Hendrickson is old and injured, I can't believe he will hold up. My guess is that the Raven fans will soon regret not having Maxx.mstrbass2000 wrote: Sun Mar 22, 2026 8:26 am i agree 100 pct
raven d fell off a cliff last yr and i dont see it recovering much this yr
offense is on the downside, eventually king henry is gonna give, you cant get pounded like he does and not get hurt over time, same goes for lamar whom was never a great passer (avg ) it was always his legs that made him elite and now he is showing age and getting injured more n more

We won't know that for a couple years.raider_kin wrote: Sun Mar 22, 2026 10:42 am Plus Hendrickson is old and injured, I can't believe he will hold up. My guess is that the Raven fans will soon regret not having Maxx.
yep, and saying the Ravens are on the downside is also questionable. Ozzie Newsome is a a great talent evaluator, not good, he his great. I don't count out the Ravens to pivot to be successful. They have proven that time and again.
The very basic elements of a contract are offer, acceptance, and consideration. In this case someone made an offer, the other party accepted, but there was no exchange by either side (consideration). In this case, a formal contract signed by both parties, then broken by Baltimore would warrant a suit for breach of contract, but no formal contract was signed by either. Therefore, reliance e.g. the Raiders seemingly making FA moves based on what they believed to be an imminent trade does not count as reliance because there was no signed, formalized contract to begin with.raiders93 wrote: Sat Mar 21, 2026 11:34 pm I get the whole tampering period = nothing is real thing… but it’s kind of getting to the point where you wonder how this doesn’t get investigated.
I mean the more info that comes out, the more it looks like Baltimore entered a trade agreement that they never intended to fulfil. At some point youd think there’s a distinction between changing your mind and bad faith negotiations.
I was going to say something like, "Both sides had a trade going but nothing was set in stone until signatures were on the dotted lines".Opoponax50 wrote: Sun Mar 22, 2026 1:11 pm The very basic elements of a contract are offer, acceptance, and consideration. We found out we COULD get Hendrickson at the price we wanted, without giving up picks.GoodTimeCharlie wrote: Tue Mar 24, 2026 2:50 pm https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/482 ... osby-trade
Yup. Does make me a bit angry/frustrated that we could have had Dallas’ 1st this year and 2nd next year, but then their team doctor became part of the whole Ravens fiasco.raider_kin wrote: Tue Mar 24, 2026 6:16 pm We found out we COULD get Hendrickson at the price we wanted, without giving up picks.
And we're slimeballs
I doubt we will get rid of him this season, that ship has sailed, maybe next season.chucker wrote: Tue Mar 24, 2026 7:09 pm I am shocked that teams were willing to offer that much for a guy who is months away from being healthy enough to go full speed. That's why I thought he wouldn't get traded, or at least not until much later in the offseason. I never wanted the Raiders to lower the asking price due to how much time he had left in recovery from surgery.
The next key date is the trade deadline, and I'm sure the chatter will ramp up well before that time unless the Raiders are quieting the critics and making a strong playoff push.
Was all premeditated.raiders93 wrote: Sat Mar 21, 2026 11:34 pm I get the whole tampering period = nothing is real thing… but it’s kind of getting to the point where you wonder how this doesn’t get investigated.

Why did we say no?GoodTimeCharlie wrote: Tue Mar 24, 2026 2:46 pm
"Initial offers centered on Dallas' second first-round pick at No. 20, and defensive tackle Osa Odighizuwa. The Cowboys then offered their top first-rounder at No. 12 and a third-round pick. Ultimately, the Cowboys moved to No. 12 and their second-round pick, but the last two offers, sources said, did not include Odighizuwa, who was traded to the San Francisco 49ers for a third-round selection,"
