It’s that time of year for us to dog fight about who’s college team is better.
Best way to start it out IMO is with the preseason coaches poll that just dropped:
Preseason Coaches Poll
1.Ohio State
2.Oregon
3.Georgia
4.Texas
5.Notre Dame
6.Indiana
7.Miami
8.Texas A&M
9.Oklahoma
10.Ole Miss
11.Alabama
12.Texas Tech
13.LSU
14.USC
15.BYU
16.Michigan
17.Penn State
18.Tennessee
19.Washington
20.SMU
21.Utah
22.Iowa
23.Clemson
24.Houston
25.Missouri
We all know who are backing after that last few years but the 2026 season is almost upon us.
For my own part, this year is special I’m attending my first home game ever at ND on 9/12.

and last
Arch Manning is so overrated. just because of his last name and shares 'some' of the same blood with two guys that were pretty good NFL quarterbacks. If there isn't some quick turnaround in his play, I don't see him picked till 3rd round at best probably closer to 4th round.
QB fever will hit as it always does. You're right about his talent but some team will bite.

BYU just scored an easy touchdown on the Irish, will another high rank team go down today?

I see him staying in school another year, that would be the smart play

ND's QB with the dumbest fumble in college football history.
Who do you mess up a spike?

What a day today in CFB. Notre Dame is now less than 2 minutes away from losing too. BYU is ranked #8 so not big upset in terms of ranking but ND status in college football.

They are very lucky they got past Florida St. No holding call on that 3rd down play and they're still playing in OT

Tip of the cap to BYU. Hard fought game.
Two many mistakes to overcome
That’s said, that could have easily been pass interference in the last play.
Either way, dust off and get back to work.

It was clearly pass interference but I don't think the refs had the guts to call it at that time. Defender played the wr not the ball. But ND let it come down to that they should have played better.
