because it boils down to if Mendoza is the real dal and if the new players mesh and if the draft class is good and if the new coaching staff messes

Way too much newness

I think FA went very well, but if they don’t do well drafting, it won’t be lasting success. FA can bring short term success, but successful drafting leads to lasting success. As much as I like how FA went, they pass on Mendoza (which they won’t) then FA was a waste of time.

I voted 7 wins, but it could be 4 or 10, imo. So, 7 is smack dab in the middle of those two.

I voted 7 as well which was right in the middle of 6&8. Even at 6 that's doubling our win total from last year which is a success

I went with 10 wins and making the playoffs. KK seems to know what he’s doing and will get the offense humming in the 2nd month into the season. Call it Hopium but we may finally have our guy at HC and QB for many years to come.

Unless we get beat in the playoffs and our owner trades him away

I am not about to jump on any kind of bandwagon for the upcoming season, there is a lot of work to be done, but this team will compete hard and I have always been more of an optimist than a realist regarding the Raiders [BoKnows81 just shook his head an said no f[raiders_icon]cking shit].

But...I believe this organization is about to turn the corner and I think that is a reasonable perspective.

I went 6 games. probably optimistic, I think this team will be competitive in all the games though. New coaches, new offense, new defense, a lot of player turnover, rookie QB, that is going to take some time to gel. I'm an old fart now so I'm always hopeful but decades of the same song and dance dampens the enthusiasm.

I votes 7 competitive wins. Enough to get us high enough in the draft to get another solid player in the 1st round of 2027.

Miracle of miracles, either Brady’s got him muzzled or Doofus FINALLY realized he doesn’t know shit about building a football team.

I chose 5 wins. Leaving myself a little wiggle room to be pleasantly surprised.

The poll question did not mention Mendoza but instead only asked if "free agency changed your outlook on the up coming season?[/i]" ...and including me, 48 out of 49 people who voted, said yes.

good for you. Everything else is a huge factor and I am not prepared to give a blanket yes to anything.

Did it change? Not really.

What I do expect is for us to no longer be an embarrassment each Sunday.
