The NFL will reveal the full schedule for the 2026 season on Thursday night, but they have announced one marquee Week 1 game on Monday.

The first Sunday Night Football matchup of the season will see the Cowboys at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey to face the Giants on NBC on September 13. It will be the eighth time in 15 seasons that the two NFC East clubs have faced each other in Week 1.

Hopefully we get the easier teams first, so our team has time to gel before facing all the toughest teams. Theres a chance the other teams will have some injuries also if we play them later on in the season.

raiderboyron wrote: Tue May 12, 2026 6:41 pm The schedule should be telling. Probably weeks, 3, 6, and 9 scheduling prime time games in the hopes he gets one of those starts or sets Kubiak up something to shoot for if the kids ready.
Or same shoot for date scenario, I wonder if Brady, working for Fox, would give them inside info to " pre plan " such an event like when they have only 1 nationally scheduled game?

Hey, "It could happen" ( in my best JP voice)

I remember Marc Wilsons debut on a Thursday night game against the Cowboys. Went to Gemco and bought a new console TV that afternoon for the event even tho I couldn't afford it!
I remember Marc Wilson debut was coming in like after the half in a easy Raider win against someone like the Lions or Saints on Monday night and threw like a 50 yard bomb near immediately. Things were said like the rich get richer. Marc was to keep the dynasty rolling, he was instantly awesome. Then a harsh reality swoon in.

Lions to host Bears to kick off Thanksgiving Day slate

NFL schedule release: Rams to host Packers in inaugural Thanksgiving Eve game on Netflix

I know lot of people don't like holiday games especially Christmas, but for an old retired guy, I love all the games surrounding the holidays.

Purchasing a standard NFL package (like YouTube TV's NFL Sunday Ticket) does not allow you to watch Netflix-exclusive games.

You must have a active Netflix subscription to watch the 2026 NFL games scheduled for that platform.
Key Details for 2026Netflix Games: Netflix will stream five games in 2026, including a Week 1 international game, Thanksgiving Eve, and a Christmas Day doubleheader.

Separate Access: These games are exclusively on Netflix, similar to how Thursday Night Football is exclusive to Amazon Prime Video.Total Coverage:

To watch every game, you ?may? need a combination of Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube TV/Sunday Ticket, Peacock, Paramount+, and ESPN+.

f[raiders_icon]cking NFL, f[raiders_icon]ck you!

Me too. Except for the fact that here's another service to pay for if you want to watch but don't subscribe. I'm all for capitalism but gimme a f[raiders_icon]cking break!

If you want to watch games on a phone or tablet, you can skip Sunday Ticket and use

NFL Support to buy NFL+:
Standard Tier ($49.99/yr): Live local and primetime games.

PREMIUM Tier ($99.99/yr): Includes full game replays, coaches film, and NFL RedZone across all devices.

Question, can I cast these feom my phone?

Answer-
No, you cannot cast live local and primetime games from your mobile device to a TV using NFL+.

So are you telling me that I cannot use the internet option on my TV to pull the game over to the set?

It's probably an app that's not available on the TV or some shit.

No home primetime games?

I was more pessimistic than most, but not that pessimistic.

Not a huge fan of the International games in general, let alone nine of them. On the upside, they do make for a nice full-day of football Sunday in Southern California - 6:30am, 10:00am, 1:05/25pm & 5:20pm.

While it's frustrating the games are all over the place on different streams, at least the streams are "no contract" so you can hook-up for just the game/month for $9-$11 and then opt out. If you're not interested in the game, then you just don't have to activate the service. Netflix with 6 games will be frustrating depending on the spacing of the games.

I've never been a fan of the NFL stepping on college games and Friday night high school games.

I already subscribe to YouTubeTV which gets me the network games, NFL network games & ESPN games and Prime gets me Thursday night, so no extra cash there. Sunday Ticket allows me to watch the games I want and not what is forced on me. That just leaves dealing with Netflix.

A 3 win team isn't getting any prime time games
