49ers lost their NT the day they first practiced in Australia for the season. They have brutal injury history the last while. Tough team though, well coached16 to 88 wrote: Thu Sep 10, 2026 7:01 pm Rams have been running all over the 49ers to this point. Most of it up the gut.
Meh. They have minimal depth in some key areas. Long season. Success from one year doesn't always correlate to the next. Aaron Donald is no guarantee to be a big impact as he's been out of the league for years. They may be fine and they may not. It'll be hard to replicate their success last yearDanKD wrote: Thu Sep 10, 2026 8:18 pm Just remember raiders beat the pats week 1 last year. Week 1 can be funny especially playing a game in Australia. The rams strategy does not appear to have been a good one.
They will be fine long term
No bout a doubt it. Obviously one of the best in the league.Goodtimes333 wrote: Thu Sep 10, 2026 8:11 pm 49ers lost their NT the day they first practiced in Australia for the season. They have brutal injury history the last while. Tough team though, well coached
From where I'm sitting, they are playing a very dangerous game. If they don't win it all this year and end up going deep into the playoffs they come back next year with no Aaron Donald, very likely no Matthew Stafford, a 31 year old Garrett with a ton of snaps on his body, McDuffie and 4 selections in the draft. They have no 1st rounder, the 2nd rounder would be at the bottom of the 2nd, they have no 3rd rounder, there 4th rounder at the bottom along with there 5th and 6th.Goodtimes333 wrote: Thu Sep 10, 2026 8:31 pm Meh. Shannahan son, vs shannahan tree.Jeevo wrote: Thu Sep 10, 2026 9:32 pm Two of the best 3 or 4 coached teams in the league and one of them got crushed. They’ll be back.
Well, that tree did win a SB already. So there's that...
Shanahan wins the 1st one against the Chiefs if they just call half the blatant holds on Bosa. He was a monster that game.
cooper rush to the rescue, expect bijan all day long running/recRaidernation1979 wrote: Fri Sep 11, 2026 10:50 am Tua ruled out for week 1. Man the falcons have had a crazy qb situation the past few years
