Lmao. Have a Honda 450 myself - that would not feel good!
Went over the bars almost 30 years ago on my YZ 400 at a much higher rate of speed. Broken arm, chipped up elbow and a significant concussion. No bueno.
And what’s your point? You want to rebuild because the Broncos traded for Wilson? That’s not going to happen as the owner said as much.
I remember when the owner said,”I’m doing everything I can to keep the Raiders in Oakland”….just minutes before boarding a plane for Anaheim lol.
Hey th sounds familiar

Woodson got his 50th sack, making him the only player to have 50 sacks and 20 interceptions in Carr's 1st win as a Raider.

He also played with Carr his last 3 years of his career. He's not gonna talk bad about him, imo he thinks of him like a little brother.

I think Carr would have done better with the Chiefs and had similar results to Alex Smith.

I think Reid would have made another selection or moved on ASAP if he came into a situation where he already was locked into Carr but it is all very, very hypothetical at most and moot.

Reid was not enamored with Smith but at least he was functionally mobile and tough in the pocket so he could run the plays. Carr may be in a similar class but he isn't the same kind of player.

We are going into year nine of doubling down over and over on the same flaws and have reached or are certainly approaching the ceiling on the strengths without the added benefits of the former.

I'm not sure what the if's and but's do for us.

I’m just gonna say it & i’m no Carr fan :-

We’re better off with Carr than mortgaging the future with losing picks we cannot afford to be trading away

We don't have enough game winning talent on the roster right now to be trading for Wilson

Now if we get offered a haul like that then McDaniels & Ziegler better be putting Carr on the plane to where ever

Regarding McDaniels with Carr. Let’s assume for a moment he does get more out of Carr, how much more are we talking? His highest year for TDs was 2015 when he had 32; maybe he gets to 35? That’s a jump of 12 touchdowns over this past year.

He typically averages 23-24. In other words Carr’s TD production is going increase by 1/3 (roughly)?

While I suppose anything is possible, just how probable is that? I’m thinking not likely.

Small detail that I’m sure you just typed too fast, but wanted to type that out for myself because damn, C Wood was impressive. I’m in my 30s, so he or Tim Brown are definitely the best Raiders I ever saw play

Woodson's a pro's pro and even though he won a Super Bowl with Green Bay, it's apparent he considers himself a Raider. Therefore, he's going to be supportive of Raider players.

Carr at $20 million is fine. We can continue to build a competitive team in the most competitive division in the NFL at that price. I don't think Carr's worth $20 million due to his point production, but it's not a number that wrecks the team. So at $20 million, it's not hard for most people to say that Carr should be our QB. At $35-40 million, it becomes a different evaluation.

just some opinions
We can only dream but i think it could be the best way to build the team right now i’m thinking the 11th pick + 2023 1st + Daron Payne
