Besides the handful of Carrs relatives here, the others that think highly of Derek are blinded by Dereks physical potential. Carrs potential is sky high and I can understand the blindness that can cause however I now only see results and I'm more than ready to move on. I have no faith in his "potential" any longer.
Agree. It is really silly to hear those stating that Carr should be extended and that Ziegler needs to go and get this guy and that guy and this guy...and improve the defense....like the cap did not exist.
I have yet to hear one damn compelling argument that Carr is worth $40 million. Not one. I guess they can point to another player being GROSSLY overpaid and suggest that the Raiders should join the stupid club and be yet another team saddled with a player making mounds of dough crippling the cap while putting up at best...average numbers.
Something something 4800 yards! , beating Denver twice!!!
Something something 4800 yards! , beating Denver twice!!!
No objective observer would ever say that Carr contributed positive value to the second win over Denver. Our offense scored 17, and handed their offense 10 with two Carr turnovers.

What is built in the first place to be worried about a rebuild?
Does the term actually have any real world meaning beyond retaining Carr to the folks so fixated?
I think we ought to be on the horn with Winston's agent or in constant communication with the Texans while we are on the phone like somebody's helicopter mama with the Colts, Pittsburg, and anyone else with a pulse.

We thought we were done in 2016, but it was a mirage. Plenty of folk are still under the spell of that mirage.

After the writers were all fired, intelligence vacated and Derek's legion of bedwetters moved in. I swear they make the Raider fan base look to be the the dumbest in the NFL. The fascination with this perennial loser is dumbfounding. It's a cult I tell ya!

Carr isn’t going anywhere
Key note here is mark Davis is not interested in going into a rebuild and you sure as hell aren’t “reloading” your team by trading away your QB to a team that doesn’t even have a f[raiders_icon]cking 1st round pick.

1. Correct, Carr isn’t going anywhere.
2. Davis can tell himself as many times as he wants “this isn’t a rebuild” time will tell if he’s right or wrong.

I think Jamies would be a good stop gap he certainly could shoot it out with Mahomes, Wilson & Herbert, there’d be no worries about letting the ball go

Not trading Carr while his stock is high again is gonna bite us in the ass bigtime...Simply aren't going to win anything with The Turd at QB and that's the bottom line, even moreso after Mark pays him huge $$$.
