Fire Patrick Graham

We have a fire Chip Kelly thread, why not fire PG? Our D sucks. We couldn't even stop them in the second half. Players are getting burnt. He hasn't really devolped anyone, we have zero pressure except for Maxx and he is being trippled teamed. Anyone else ready to move on?

Let’s fire the DC who’s got a defence with zero talent outside of one player yet isn’t the worst defence in the league.
Blame the talent not PG

Defense was good but let's not act like Broncos didn't call a shit game too. Broncos beat themselves more than the Raiders and they still lost. I'm still more than ok with moving on from Graham.

When your opponent continues to make mistakes, let them. The problem was that Denver let us make more.

I wonder if Payton left a contest winner call plays. It was spastic.

I was dumbfounded at how bad they looked. That one call on 3rd and whatever where they ran that weird reverse with Sutton where he tried to pass was the dumbest of the dumb.

All they needed was one yard for a first run and the result took them out of field goal range.
It felt like they were trying to throw the game.

That play really stood out as a head scratcher

I think he was trying to get cute like the Chiefs do against the Raiders but their offense isn't nearly as efficient. When you are as bad as the Raiders, the opposition can take things for granted that you still need to execute even against the worst team in the league.

Raiders gave up a 2nd and 18. Fire Graham.

yes, professional teams fire one of their top coaches over one play. That is how it works

I've been critical of Graham but the defense played well enough to win last night. That being said, I'd need to see that on a more consistent basis before annointing Graham as our long term D coordinator.

Its more that the defense isnt very good but its by far the best of our three phases. It looks like super bowl level compared to our offense and special teams.

Defense did well. No major issues. Some very good plays made. One specific was a wr screen to the offenses right. DB engaged with a blocker and he reached out and prevented the first down. Few others similar. The young DBs seem to be doing well and learning.

That's false. Whenever the defense needs to make a stop, they don't. The other things you see are an illusion because the OP offense is playing down to the Raiders level.
Raiders had the lead against the Bears, the Bears marched down the field and scored easily.
Raiders had the lead against the Jaguars, the Jags marched down the field and scored easily.
If the defense is any good, then stop the offense
when it matters. Not on the first couple of drives.
