I remember seeing something a couple weeks ago that Rogers in his first start had graded out as our best lineman. How has he done since that first start?
How did Grant do? Kyle Long was very complimentary of Grant yesterday.
Real question is... are we as bad, and as desperate for help on 0-line as we think we are, or was a lot of that just bad personnel discissions and coaching by Pete and his kid.
If Rogers and Grant can play, along with moving JPJ back to center, maybe the o-line isn't as needy as we think.
Obviously, we look for help, but maybe not a total overhaul.

Like every other year the new coaches evaluate players face to face AFTER free agency and the draft.
Problem? Yea a bit
Agreed, unfortunately it takes them half a season to know the team as much as an educated fan, which leads to stupid decisions early that screw us that season. Hopefully with Spytek having a full season under his belt he’ll keep the coaching staff from making a bunch of dumb decisions early.
It should be pretty easy, sign our own FAs that are worth keeping. Sign one to two starting caliber offensive lineman and draft BPA available in the draft with a slight bias towards both the offensive and defensive trenches.

Right? Then just win your games make it to the Super Bowl and win that. Rinse and repeat every year. Super simple.

Well, a coach can evaluate tape on the players, and even pull their social media to get a feel for a player. Internet age allows for a lot more data collection without being face to face.

We drafted a right tackle in the 3rd the last 2 draft. Glaze and Grant.
We also drafted JPJ in the 2nd, and Rodgers in the 3rd in the last two years.
We have not neglected the offensive line as some seem to claim.
Glaze faltered as scouts predicted he would be better as a guard. Grant was a left tackle in college and could be a suitable replacement for Miller who is in his 30s. The one O-lineman I would draft is Blake Miller. A true right tackle throughout his entire college career.
I've seen it. Our free agent class is terrible. Which is a good thing as we won't be losing much and will only be adding talent

I'm sorry but there is no "centre" on "offence" in American football. Liberty my Canadian friend, liberty.
