Mendoza is the first overall, so defenses (even in preseason) will be playing with fire in attempt to make him look bad.

Bad decision by Mendo. Can’t set him like that. Holding killed the drive as usual

Jeanty is going to have a great year 2. This is a taste of things to come.

1st string offense looked great, no complaints . Defense looked unprepared and worse than I anticipated. 2nd string offense looks like a 2nd string offense.

Taron Johnson shouldn't be starting. McCoy or Zeke need to take that spot.

Yep, understand that. But a qb has got to see where the defenders are at in relation to their receivers so the receivers don't get their teeth knocked out. He will learn that especially as he gets used to the speed of the NFL game vs college.

Mendozas first series as an nfl qb was uninspiring, well see what he does on the rest of his series.
