Carroll is gonna do what Gruden tried to do his first year here. He’s gonna turnover the loser mentality I honestly think a lot of our team probably has, would be hard not to with all the losing and coaching turnover. Pete really is a culture builder and living in Seattle for the past 20 years and seeing what he did for this fanbase I’m pretty excited for our turnaround. I know Ben Johnson was the sexy name but I think Pete was the right coach at the right time to finally get us back to winning. Maybe it takes a couple offseasons but just the entire image and feeling around the Raiders is already changing imo.
Gruden really worked hard to eliminate the "victim" mentality that began to creep into the Raiders culture in the early 1990's.

I don't need a Super Bowl.......I just want to see this team man up against the teams in our Division.
When I witness that, the rest will fall into place.

As it stands today we are 509-480-11, which is pretty freakin amazing considering the last twenty seasons.
I witnessed what I believe was the only "perfect game" in Super Bowl history when the Raiders won Super Bowl XVIII. I am one of the lucky ones.

They deserve a winner for a change.
I feel good that they will soon witness it themselves.
I find it it bizarre that we have any young fans considering the last 23 years, they have to be Indoctrinated in by their parents...is that child abuse lol
They deserve a winner for a change.

I really Hope we see positive change this year, because I don't have to many years left to Hope or Wait...I will have to admit the regime changes since Del Rio have left a bitter taste in my mouth that I can't get rid of until I see results...you no the old saying fool me once..fool me twice;) I like your post by the way!!!

The sad thing is that some "younger" fans that never celebrated a Raiders Superbowl are in their 40's
