Obvious Mendoza #1 no consideration of trading that pick.
But who you got picks 2 - 4 thats going to help Mendoza.
#2 Raiders should be able to select WR Chris Bell or WR KC Concepcion with our early 2nd.
#3 I forget who it was, but someone here mentioned that the best pure dominant RT coming out of college could be got in the 3rd. And stated hes played his whole career at RT, and not being moved around the line.
Sounds like solid gets
Id hope the rest of the draft is building the trenches, with maybe 1 DB in there
Who else you like ?

I wonder if they already feel they have that guy on the roster in Rogers. He doesn't have the reach or height of Miller that's for sure but he appears to be more athletic. If Miller makes it to 36 I don't see them passing on him however.
I think you meant Grant not Rogers.. i agree with Grant may start off at RT, but i think he projects better at LT and might be considered as K. Millers replacement. Im fine if they decide to start him at RT first and transition him to LT to replace K. Miller in a couple years. If McDonald is available at 36 id take him and roll with Grant at RT, but if not McDonald, and Miller was there id love him at RT, and develop grant at LT subbing in for K. Miller as hes getting old and at end of his career.

Boards I frequent have Ponds as a mid 2nd and Rutledge as a mid 3rd.
I am sure I like Rutledge more than most, don't care. If he is available in that spot and the guys above him are gone, I would take him.
Ponds is more likely to go higher, that is why I said if he slipped a little. I don't think we take him with our 2nd round pick so that is why I didn't put him with the first group.

Solid list except for Banks. You don't want a big boy with two recent major injuries to his foot in the 2nd round.
I'm just not as concerned about the injuries as many are. Time and again people talk about injury history with the draft and then nothing really comes from it. The fact that her ran the 40, did the vertical and long jump with a broken foot says to me a lot about his toughness and character. Plus the fact that he just didn't shut himself down for the season, but worked his ass off to get back and play the final two games tells me something about him as well.
I totally get if others are worried by his injuries, I just am not.
I like him more than Hunter because he actually does get pressure on a QB and therefore can play three downs where Hunter is pretty much a two down guy.

LOL, I find it very odd and hypocritical of many poster with their views on Grant.
While I'd personally like to groom him for LT and left him develop and play LT under Miller. If he's the best guy and can play RT, then so be it.
Yet, many posters are saying to let Grant play RT and then move him to LT when Miller is done. How is this any different than taking a current player at LT and switching him to RT? It makes zero sense to me! If a guy can play, then they can play and they'll figure it out whichever side they are on.

ESPN’s Ryan McFadden reports Duke DT Josiah Green is “a name to monitor” for the Raiders.
Per McFadden, Green met with Raiders representatives after his impressive Pro Day showing last week. Green performed very well in the speed, agility and jumping drills. He also tied the Duke Pro Day bench press record with 36 reps. The Raiders representatives expressed their “love for his athleticism” during the meeting. He has also reportedly met with the Eagles, Bears, Steelers and Packers. Green spent 2022-2024 playing at Dartmouth before joining the Blue Devils last year. In 2025, he totaled 30 combined tackles, 11 solo tackles, four TFLs, 22 quarterback pressures and four sacks.

I don't want to put a guy at RT that's never played RT. Groom Grant as Miller's replacement. Now is not the time to experiment IMO.
Re: Free Agency main thread -Raiders and league wide
We still have cap? Except for the draft picks of course.

he does not have to make it there, we have day three picks to move back into the late second to grab him. I am not opposed to this move but then again, I am opposed to the guy in general. He plays off balance and his tendency to get high in his blocks are concerning. He is a gap guard and fits the scheme but I would rather stick with our guys and get the RT with our second round pick. Guard to me, while important, is less of a concern than that tackle. I would far rather get Miller by moving up.

Me too, unfortunately I think we’ll miss out on a starting caliber OT, and our consolation prize is a starting caliber IOL or IDL.

I don’t think Grant is locked into any position group other than he’s an offensive lineman.

He's only ever played LT. I think he's locked in more than we think.

I think Grant is the odd man out. He is going to be a backup and will backup at LT and maybe guard at times
