Tokyo Toe has good chance if he shows he got good enough range. Questionable leg strength.
Don't know anything about the rest.

With Jeanty, Washington and Hemby the backfield is addressed. This will be Laube’s last offseason with the team.

A lot of Bows fans in the neighborhood are rooting for Kensai. If he makes the team the nation might extend to Japan.

Hemby fits the zone scheme perfectly and he signed with the Raiders in large part because of Mendoza. I saw a clip of him talking about Fernando a while back & it was obvious he views him as an immaculate leader & they're close buds

I keep seeing that he signed a 3 yr deal. Is that common for an udfa? I was under the assumption they were mostly 1 yr deals?

All UDFA contracts are three years, non-guaranteed.

JONATHAN BRADY | WR | INDIANA

• HEIGHT: 5-9
• WEIGHT: 185
• HANDS: 9
• ARM: 30 ⅛
• SPAN: 73
• FORTY: 4.51
• 20YD: 2.56
• 10YD: 1.61
• VERT: 37.5
• BROAD: 126 (10’6”)
• SHUT: 4.30
• 3CONE: 7.34
• BENCH: 15 reps

Scouting Report: Summary

Brady is a compact, quick receiver with proven versatility as both a wideout and return man. A double transfer (California, New Mexico State) before landing at Indiana, he has flashed explosiveness in testing with a strong vertical and broad jump. His college production was modest — 14 catches for 115 yards and 3 TDs in 2025 — but he showed more impact in prior seasons, including 39 catches for 621 yards and 4 TDs in 2023. He also contributed as a punt returner, averaging 16.5 yards per return with a touchdown in 2025. Draft Scout +1

Strengths

• Quick acceleration and solid short-area burst (1.61 10-yard split).
• Explosive leaping ability (37.5” vertical, 10’6” broad).
• Experience as a return specialist; adds special teams value.
• Shifty route runner with ability to separate underneath.
• Versatility across multiple programs and roles.

Weaknesses

• Undersized frame (5-9, 185) limits contested-catch ability.
• Modest receiving production at Indiana; never a high-volume target.
• Average long speed (4.51) compared to elite deep threats.
• Needs refinement in physicality against press coverage.
• Ceiling may be capped as a rotational WR/KR rather than starter.

Projection & Fit

• Draft Range: Priority Free Agent / Round 7 consideration.
• NFL Comparison: Similar to players like DeAndre Carter (undersized WR/KR with quickness and return value).
• Best Fit: Teams seeking depth at slot receiver and a reliable punt/kick return option.

Key Takeaway

Jonathan Brady is a developmental slot receiver and return specialist with strong testing numbers but limited college production. His best path to an NFL roster is through special teams, where his quickness and return ability can provide immediate value. If he develops more polish as a route runner, he could carve out a role as a rotational slot weapon.

DEVYN PERKINS | S | UTAH STATE

• HEIGHT: 5-10
• WEIGHT: 195
• HANDS: 9 ¼
• ARM: 30 ½
• SPAN: 74
• FORTY: 4.49
• 20YD: 2.58
• 10YD: 1.59
• VERT: 36.0
• BROAD: 124 (10’4”)
• SHUT: 4.27
• 3CONE: 7.08
• BENCH: 16 reps

Scouting Report: Summary

Perkins is a quick, compact safety with experience across multiple programs (Utah Tech, Southern Utah, Utah State). He has shown strong ball production, including 14 pass breakups and 2 interceptions in 2021, highlighted by a school-record 95-yard pick-six. His speed and explosiveness translate well to special teams, where he has contributed as a kick returner. In 2023, he posted 37 tackles, 5 PBUs, 1 INT, and 1 forced fumble at Utah Tech before transferring.

Strengths

• Quickness and burst (sub-1.60 10-yard split).
• Ball skills: history of PBUs and interceptions, including a record-setting pick-six.
• Versatility: experience at corner, safety, and special teams.
• Return ability: kick return contributions with 40+ yard returns.
• Competitive toughness: plays bigger than his size, aggressive in run support.

Weaknesses

• Undersized frame (5-10, 195) limits matchups vs. bigger tight ends.
• Journeyman career across multiple programs; limited high-level production at Utah State.
• Average change-of-direction numbers (7.08 3-cone) compared to elite DB prospects.
• Needs refinement in tackling angles and consistency in coverage discipline.

Projection & Fit

• Draft Range: Priority Free Agent / Round 7 consideration.
• NFL Comparison: Similar to Desmond King (compact DB with versatility and return value).
• Best Fit: Teams needing depth at safety/nickel corner with special teams contributions.

Key Takeaway

Devyn Perkins is a developmental safety with speed, ball skills, and special teams versatility. While his size and journeyman path may limit his ceiling, his athleticism and competitive toughness give him a chance to stick as a depth defensive back and return option.

*FYI, I think this is the guy in the video. It’s slim-pickings for some of these dudes.

JOSH CELISCAR | DL | USF

• HEIGHT: 6-3
• WEIGHT: 292
• HANDS: 9 ¾
• ARM: 32 ⅛
• SPAN: 78
• FORTY: 4.96
• 20YD: 2.80
• 10YD: 1.72
• VERT: 29.5
• BROAD: 110 (9’2”)
• SHUT: 4.65
• 3CONE: 7.58
• BENCH: 25 reps

Scouting Report: Summary

Celiscar is a seasoned defensive lineman with extensive AAC and SEC experience, having played at UCF and Texas A&M before transferring to USF. He’s a durable, high-motor defender with leadership traits, serving as a team captain at UCF. His production includes 156 career tackles, 24.5 TFL, 8 sacks, and 5 forced fumbles across 50+ games. While not an elite athlete, he’s a reliable run defender who can rotate inside and outside depending on scheme.

Strengths

• Experience & leadership: Multi-year starter, team captain at UCF.
• Versatility: Can play DE or DT in multiple fronts.
• Strong hands & motor: Effective against the run, disruptive with effort.
• Durability: Consistent contributor across three programs.
• Football IQ: High awareness and discipline.

Weaknesses

• Average athletic profile: Limited explosiveness and speed.
• Pass-rush ceiling: More effort-based than dynamic.
• Tweener build: Not ideal length for DE or bulk for full-time DT.
• Production dipped after leaving UCF compared to earlier peak years.

Projection & Fit

• Draft Range: Round 6–7 / Priority Free Agent.
• NFL Comparison: Similar to Adam Gotsis (rotational DL with toughness and effort).
• Best Fit: Teams needing depth in rotational DL roles, especially against the run.

Key Takeaway

Josh Celiscar is a battle-tested defensive lineman with leadership traits and versatility. His athletic limitations cap his upside, but his toughness, experience, and motor make him a candidate for a depth role in the NFL. He projects as a rotational DL who can contribute in run defense packages and provide locker-room leadership.

I realize they're udfa but we are signing alot of them. Seems like there's a chance we see alot of turnover on the bottom portion of the roster

Good. Think about how bad our starters were. Multiply it by 100 for our depth.

Oh 100% agreed. Hell I think there's a good chance most of the draft picks make the final roster and have a shot at starting day 1. Not saying all of the picks were home runs, just that the roster is that poor

Yep. Maybe we'll get lucky with a couple of these UDFA.

It’s a full-on exorcism. Not just to improve the talent level, but to root out anyone not bought-in. Wilson is the best example of how far they’re willing to go to make the squad “their guys”.

Noticed before they’re all good character human beings and strong “RAS” score (when possible), but I’m also seeing a lot of leadership “self-starter” personalities, much like Mendo.

I can’t believe how many of these college players played at two and even three locations. Times have really changed.

Yep, not the college ball I grew up with. I used to watch the Pac 8 teams, ha ha.
