Yep, that incarnation was even stranger, if such a thing was even possible. The scoreboards were going to be a GAME CHANGER!

He literally took it down within an hour of the Vegas move being approved by the NFL owners.

SF is one of those teams that seems to value signing proven FAs as opposed to hoping draft picks pan out.

I think I brought up the Crosby to SF idea a couple months ago as being a very good fit.

A 9ers draft pick or 2 plus a solid current player to the Raiders in exchange for Maxx will be just fine with me.

They are drafting 27th. Trading with them means youre getting basically 2nd round picks. It needs to be more.

That's why I said "a draft pick or 2 plus a solid player". Bad teams with low draft picks probably won't be looking to trade for Maxx anyway.

I brought up Pickens in another thread, and a few voiced character concerns which I think are valid— I’m still on the fence because he was mostly well behaved in Dallas, but boy have we been on the shit end of bad behavior before.

But as I said in the other thread, speaking on him just as a player, I think he could be great in an offense that features him like Kubiak’s would.

Preamble considered, what do you guys think about Maxx for Pickens + 12? Take the best player available at 12, and hope Pickens becomes the best version of himself.

I would still be concerned from an attitude point of view, but he’s the kind of guy who could really make our offense great. I think he’s just scratching the surface of what he can be
