You don’t hire Pete Carroll to have issues with Special Teams.
One of the pluses of getting him is hoping a vet coach like him would sure that up.

First thing he does is retain Graham as DC when he's absolute garbage.
Then he hires Chip f[raiders_icon]cking Kelly as OC when he's absolute garbage and has been fired from multiple jobs in recent years and run out of town (i.e. f[raiders_icon]cking over UCLA and then bailing)
And he hires his own f[raiders_icon]cking son as OL coach and surprise, surprise the OL is absolute garbage.

Way misleading stat. two of the three complete years, he had a winning record, admittedly just one game over but a winning record. He had one 7-10 season but the three prior to that were all 10+ win years. That stat you posted up includes the partial year here to make him look worse but it is misleading as hell to do so.
For perspective, his first two seasons in Seattle he had two losing seasons to start. To further put it in perspective, for his entire pro career as a coach, which includes 18 full seasons, he had exactly four losing seasons. And one of them he did make the playoffs.
Now, the offensive stat? That is probably more accurate but Pete is a defensive minded head coach. It is probably more fair to see how his defenses stack up rather than his offenses. In that regard, his defenses ranked 27-26 and 30 in yards allowed and in points allowed 11- 25 and 24. I did that quickly so those are numbers or really close. Not great numbers either. But it levels the playing field a bit.

Yeah trying to trash Carroll is silly. He may very well be done as a high quality coach but that doesnt change that hes one of the best to ever do it. Ill add that the Raiders have a way of bringing out the worst if everybody.

Rule number 1...Don't hire a HC that retired from the game...Had there ever been one that succeeded?

Semantics, but I don't think Carroll ever "retired". He just took the year off. No one talked him into returning to the game.

What’s gonna happen around here if we win our next 2 games?

That's right after I hook up with Sydney Sweeney.
