Obvious Mendoza #1 no consideration of trading that pick.
But who you got picks 2 - 4 thats going to help Mendoza.

#2 Raiders should be able to select WR Chris Bell or WR KC Concepcion with our early 2nd.

#3 I forget who it was, but someone here mentioned that the best pure dominant RT coming out of college could be got in the 3rd. And stated hes played his whole career at RT, and not being moved around the line.

Sounds like solid gets

Id hope the rest of the draft is building the trenches, with maybe 1 DB in there

Who else you like ?

Biggest difference I notice at first blush is that our WR Room hasn’t proven itself to be good or bad. Too young and new to lay final judgement upon them.

That surgery usually results in 90-100% recovery. And he had that surgery done by one of the top knee guys in the country. No way he is at 63%.

Not a big fan of watching highlights from players as they aren’t true indicators of their full scope of work. It’s just too much of their best performances. None of us has the resources that teams do that requires watching full games of players and getting a true talent evaluation. Not only that, but if we’re being honest, we are also far behind evaluators ability to dissect what will actually translate for a player at the highest level. As a fan who has the time to try and watch games on players I feel we might draft along with players who are projected to be available at our picks, I find it very time consuming.

No idea after our first pick who we take, just my thoughts on cherry picking highlights for clicks by the media.

Hard to disagree but I’d also be ok with Boston without reaching. Went to a few games and was able to watch him in real time. He just seemed to be the best receiver on the field regardless of team the Huskies played.

I'd be fine with Boston at 36 as well. NFL.com has his comp as Puka Nacua. Sign me up all day for that. His contested catch ability wound be a huge plus for Mendoza. Boston's strong hands stand out. He attacks the ball.

Yeah, last year's team is hard to judge considering how bad the coaching/managing was. We just don't know what we have yet but if we correctly address the OL situation, then FM, Bowers, and Jeanty should make us offensively competitive again.

The more I think about it, I wouldn't be shocked to see a corner or safety at 36. Obviously if the value is there. I think as of right now those two positions, especially corner, is the biggest need on the team. Stokes played well but one injury free season doesn't automatically take him off of the injury prone list. Porter's still a very raw unknown

As far as safety is concerned they're both garbage imo. When Chinn is your best safety, you have problems. Pola Mao has no business stepping onto a field other than to play ST. I still have no idea what fans and the fo saw in him

Boston to me is similar to Fields from Notre Dame. I'd rather draft him a few rounds later and up with a similar wr

How dare you piss off the Chinn fanboys this early lol. But yea, he sucks.

I hope we dont take a corner in the 2nd. There will be better players at other positions there.

Lol...there's still so many needs on this team that going bpa or even drafting for need isn't going to be an issue. Is wr the biggest need on the team? No but certainly if a first rd talent falls, by all means scoop him up as that position is still a need

If the Toledo safety is there i think they strongly consider him.

How dare you calling me a fanboy of Chinn. I’m a fan man of him.

I think judging anyone based off the last three coaching staffs is utterly unfair to any of the guys who were on those teams. McDaniels, Pierce and Carroll trashed this team

Meh. I'm tired of that excuse. At some point, we have to accept that some of these guys just can't play, regardless of coaching. I don't think there's any helping guys like AO12, Tyree, Pola-Mau. They are what they are.

True for some, but too many young/new players barely took the field. And when they did get an opportunity, they were ill prepared. I don't think there is anybody from the 2025 draft that we or The Raiders know where they stand as professional NFL players yet.
