They can get a center in the second. And since they have an experienced QB they can start a rookie in a learn on the job modeRI RAIDER wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2026 11:52 am GREAT move. Essentially traded Max to the Ravens for our boy and 2 FRP's. The best thing is that we weakened the Ravens after trading max. The Ravens may have some problems in the middle of their OL.
Yep I'm still showing 1 G and 1 T before the minimum viable OL offseason plan is fulfilled.
Rogers fills one of the guard spots.SkullCrusher wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2026 11:55 am Yep I'm still showing 1 G and 1 T before the minimum viable OL offseason plan is fulfilled.
Wrong againFlyBono24 wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2026 11:25 am Reminds me of when we got Rodney Hudson. Now build out the rest of this OL and let's feast
Maybe look at an LT in the draft to eventually replace Kolton, he's been injured every year
Didn't the gm say he had offered a "reset the market" type deal, guy was important especially to team with SB ambitions (Id argue more important than a rebuilding franchise). Its just that the Raven have cap issues especially after trading for Crosby.DanKD wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2026 11:55 am Yeah I dont think Linderbaum is as important to them as he is to us.
Sure they can, but nevertheless taking Linderbaum away weakens them (possibly having a positive impact on our draft position).Attyla wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2026 11:54 am They can get a center in the second. And since they have an experienced QB they can start a rookie in a learn on the job mode
Yeah that's right I forgot that our getting Linderbaum also helps peripherally with our Ravens 1st rounder next year.RI RAIDER wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2026 12:04 pm Sure they can, but nevertheless taking Linderbaum away weakens them (possibly having a positive impact on our draft position).
I'm actually not expecting him to be worth the price, just do his job and we feel good about him.NoThanksSir wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2026 11:10 am You're absolutely right, I would have been fine with giving our 3rd yr center another shot at the job rather than setting the market & spending $8 million more per year over the #2 guy who is clearly better than him. But this is just how free agency works. Linderbaum isn't a bad player, but it remains to be seen whether he is worth that price. It all comes down to who we field to the left and right of him, and how proficient the offense is with a unit that is paying more for a center than any other team in the league. I think it's a fair criticism, but I'm still excited to see what the final product looks like.
We were always going to have to overpay regardless. Offering a few million more than Baltimore & he stays there. We were the worst team and despite what people with blindees on think, not a top destination. At least we didn't overpay for a 33 yr old washed vet like we would've in the pastBoKnows81 wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2026 11:44 am I wouldn't even if cared if we gave Lindy 30 mil a year. Some of y'all are absolutely nuts if you think we overpaid.
