Predict the 2026 record - your realistic expectations

With Mendoza needing time to adjust, an unproven O line and what I consider average receivers, I’m not really expecting to light it up on offense.

Defensively, we should be at least middle of the pack. That should go a long ways in helping stack wins.

Having said that, we are improved across the board yet still more work to do. I would predict we have 6 wins this year, double what we had last year. If Pete can manage 3 last year, I have faith with a better coaching staff we can do better. If we can beat the teams we’re supposed to plus staying close in the 4th quarter against better talent, we have a punchers chance in some of those.

Personally, at least another year or two to make some real noise if we nail FA and the draft.

We'll be significantly better than last year as long as Mendoza is under center. That's all that matters.

Cousins is better than Pick Six Geno or either of the other creatures we had as backups. So even with him starting the season im happy.

Same level imo, which isn’t great. Mendoza sooner than later please.

You can disagree all you want. You're still wrong lol. How could you watch the tape of him last year and truly sit back and say, "you know, if only he had better coaching"...

Regardless of wins and losses, every player this year will be developed and used to see what we have in them, especially the 2nd year guys. This is the year we clear out all the suckers and get down to brass tax.

It certainly does...the whole team suffered last year, partly due to coaching, play calling, and a poorly constructed roster. (the OL was abysmal)

Though I was never a fan of acquiring Geno, he should fare a little better this year, yes, even with the jets.

Yep, no more scholarship players, no more dead weight, no more mis management of players or trying to force them into systems they're not built for. Metaphorically speaking, Kubiak (Or Spytek) is Tripper and Mendoza (or Mark haha) is Fink.. :loltears:

kubiak and dennison would never have allowed that shit scheme and play calling
