opposing teams compress their defense to stop the run against the raiders, why ??? because we have zero wr that threaten anything...jerry jeudy instantly upgrades our wr1 positions and opens up running lanes ...see 2024 when he had his best throwing qb jameis winston 90 rec almost 1300 yds and 4 tds you think teams didn't plan to stop him that yr

....back here in real life, kk, in no way, runs an offense like what Winston was running, and where he was allowed to fling it all over the place, and hope for the best, and after giving up whatever assets to get a guy like jeudy, don't be surprised to find out that he is no more valuable here, at this time, than are the no name players we already have, who have yet to have been in a position to make a name for themselves.
....this isn't to suggest that we have a #1 on the team at this time who simply hasn't yet had the chance to show it, but is ,m,ore a suggestion that it would be a redundant move than some would only realize as being so, after the fact.

Why? Because we run a bunch set ourselves.

You don't think people like Tre Tucker can run just as fast as Juedy? He makes catches, you got to give him chances to catch the ball, he's pretty good. Has it been shown that we've tried Tre over and over with catchable balls deep and he's failed? I don't think so. We're not trying to do that or can't and not because of WR.

It is a combo of protection and QB and mostly protection. Cousins has shown he can and will go deep if given time. But he doesn't have a Marino type arm where he can go deep on a super quick flip of the wrist.

Juedy doesn't fix anything, he'll have the same exact stats as our WR's because it's our scheme/playcalls and protection and a QB who no longer has a lively arm.

Lively arm is the key phrase.

Jeudy f[raiders_icon]cking sucks. He's literally worse than Tre Tucker.

Calm down about a WR1.0
We need line.
We will NOT trade for someone else's problem

our whole wr crew are nothing but wr3/4's none of em have ever come close to putting up wr1 numbers but jerry jeudy has (90rec,1300 yds and 4 tds) and he did that with jameis winston as his qb, tre tucker doesn't threaten anything and has proven he is a wr3/4 for his whole career

the raiders lack a wr that can threaten a defense, that doesn't mean a burner, that mean a wr that can run routes, catch and go long jerry jeudy proved he could do that with a decent qb (2024) and kirk is a decent qb that can occasionally throw it long...jerry jeudy would instantly be our best wr if we traded for him and its not even close

That's by far his best year and not his median. He seems to be more of a 50 - 600 guy which isn't terrible, but that isn't the famous #1WR either.

We know what Winston does? He's all about the deep ball even haphazardly, which currently we aren't about that for imo reasons beyond WR. If we did we would find a player like Tre Tucker to be a lot more productive. You can't catch balls what isn't thrown catchable to you.

You think Cousins is going to start hitting Jeudy left and right and at length behind this line?

come on man, i posted up his qbs he has had to play with too ...explains why he hasn't been great but the one yr he has a avg qb jameis winston he puts up wr1 numbers
