Think what you want. I don't need to prove anything to some hack internet trollThe Real CK wrote: Sun Oct 05, 2025 6:39 pm Cleaning out the waste baskets doesn't count.
Name an actual position or PM me. Back up your claim.
Plan B, C, D.heavyD wrote: Sun Oct 05, 2025 6:30 pm Carroll was plan B. The 2025 Raiders are operating with a head coach that was plan B and a starting QB that was plan B. They didn't get the guys they wanted and now we know why they wanted Johnson and Stafford first because they would probably be a in a better place but it is what it is. The hope is Carroll can at least get the team pointing in the right direction in the 2nd half of the season so they have something to build off for the 2026 season.

Tapout accepted, liar.Hellbound wrote: Sun Oct 05, 2025 6:44 pm Think what you want. I don't need to prove anything to some hack internet troll
Sorry you posted an opinion piece to back up your own fabricated lie. I had direct access and that's all you need to know. Have fun trolling for the rest of the night
I posted it last week, (paraphrasing it): we built the Offense especially in reverse. Adding the offensive skill positions but not having a QB to utilize them. The Real CK wrote: Sun Oct 05, 2025 6:42 pm Most of the successful teams pivoted to young, innovative head coaches and first round QBs. We did the exact opposite.
Not one aspect of the team has improved under Pete and several areas have gotten worse.XSeahawksFan wrote: Sun Oct 05, 2025 6:44 pm Pete won a NCAA National Championship and a Superbowl. He inherited a 4-13 team that lost Wilknson and needs a rebuild. He knows what he is doing but it isn't gonna happen overnight. Most coaches of Carol's caliber wouldn't take a job with a team that needs a massive rebuild like the Raiders do. Give him 3 years. He knows how to build a winning team. Better days are ahead.
Flacco won a Super Bowl. Let's trade for him!XSeahawksFan wrote: Sun Oct 05, 2025 6:44 pm Pete won a NCAA National Championship and a Superbowl. Because the ST coach is not good at his job.LayneStaley wrote: Sun Oct 05, 2025 7:00 pm I don’t understand how the ST is so bad, we really did give up a return for TD today. That penalty on Indy was pretty weak.
How can the coverage teams be this bad in one season.
On a side note I’d like to know what team has given up the most 3rd and 8+ yards to go for first downs since PG took over here. I can’t imagine it’s not us.
I am hoping it's one of those it will get worse before it gets better situations.Corleone wrote: Sun Oct 05, 2025 6:52 pm Not one aspect of the team has improved under Pete and several areas have gotten worse.
Thats how I see it too after 5 games.Corleone wrote: Sun Oct 05, 2025 6:52 pm Not one aspect of the team has improved under Pete and several areas have gotten worse.
It’s not even about a championship at this point, it’s about building a culture of competitiveness. I’m not sure I see that happening right now. I see a staff and roster built on comfort and convenience. Pete brought in Geno because it was easy and didn’t take any ingenuity. Spytek and Pete brought in guys they know because it was convenient and easier than scouring league wide. Our organization took the lazy route this offseason, this is not how you build a championship team.XSeahawksFan wrote: Sun Oct 05, 2025 7:07 pm Thats how I see it too after 5 games.
My take though is it takes time to build a championship team of players, coaches and assistant coaches.
I am not impressed with our offensive coordinator and play calling thus far. They have to get that figured out SOON!
We're officially back to Al's final days; no one wants to come here and there will be better options for the best candidates to go to. It looks ugly and now and odds are it's going to stay that way considering the last 2+ decades, but starting over every year is no answer either.Corleone wrote: Sun Oct 05, 2025 6:37 pm There's no way you can keep this going for 3 years. Absolutely no way, it's not just his coaching, but he has no idea what he's doing with talent evaluation at this point, he doesn't know who to play.
