Why, because he took a job or because his old job did not accept his notice and moved on immediately?
Sometimes...... a weasel is a weasel. Some things you just know intuitvely.Attyla wrote: Fri Jan 02, 2026 7:38 am Why, because he took a job or because his old job did not accept his notice and moved on immediately?
I would say he matured after a lot of buffoonery but they wanted to interview the guy, he went to the interview. He got the job, and he actually did the right thing and asked to start after his final game, but his old job pulled the plug on the guy. Maybe he could have waited until his season was over, given he was the hot ticket and LSU would have waited.Dr Death wrote: Fri Jan 02, 2026 8:40 am Sometimes...... a weasel is a weasel. I know. The dude just rubs me the wrong way. Everyone deserves a second chance, but as the saying goes..... you get one chance to make a first impression. He made his impression with me years ago.Attyla wrote: Fri Jan 02, 2026 8:54 am I would say he matured after a lot of buffoonery but they wanted to interview the guy, he went to the interview. Don't get me wrong, his time at TN and USC should have killed his career. He took lower level jobs and smaller school jobs as a result. But he fixed whatever was wrong with his head and got a good gig and did a good job there. I don't even consider his time with the Raiders. We gave him a shit team and he was not ready for the job he got. And let's be honest, working for the Old Man was always dicey at best.
f[raiders_icon]ck Mendoza and Arch. Let's wait for Mack!Attyla wrote: Fri Jan 02, 2026 9:56 am Speaking of the SEC, Bama found their QB of the future yesterday, Mack looked pretty good out there in my opinion

Id put most of the blame on Al not kiffen. If Kiffen got his players in that draft we all would of been much happier. Al was out of his mind by then.Attyla wrote: Fri Jan 02, 2026 8:54 am I would say he matured after a lot of buffoonery but they wanted to interview the guy, he went to the interview.
