Raiders at Broncos post game thread

Well the good news is that this loss helps our draft position and there is free football on Sunday. The Donks begged us the take this game and the Raiders said. No thanks.
1 Can’t blame the defense they only gave up 10 points and got us 2 INTs. Some people want to fire Graham but nights like this one are worth keeping.
2 Geno had a really rough night but I would blame the play calling and the offensive line way more than him.
3 The refs were looking for flags tonight on both sides so you can’t blame them.
4 We need a new kicker after this season. Carlson doesn’t have it anymore.
5 At this point the season is done for so the rookies have to keep playing even if they make mistakes like Thornton JR did.

Things are so dire with this team that I don't even know what to say anymore. We'd be lucky if Bowers and Jeanty are here beyond their rookie contracts. A franchise QB can change everything. There's no use caring until one is here. Let's just hope its during the prime of our two superstars.

Oline couldn't block a pop warner team but that's still no excuse for Chip not to get the ball in the hands of their best player (Bowers) You simply can't go from having 3 TDs one to game to 4 targets the next. And then that dumb reverse with him to boot.
Dude makes far too much money to be this incompetent.

Chip should be gone ASAP.

Is it just me or did this just feel like a preseason tune up game? The number of boneheaded errors on both sides was staggering

It might be time to be looking for a new kicker, Carlson has not been good

It was a tough watch. Classic TNF.

Game is too late for me in EST. Watched the first quarter when the Raider offense looked functional (maybe even competent?) Thought I'd get up today and see a solid win over the donks. Looks like I just saw the good part and missed three quarters of bad football.
Last I saw was JPJ leaving the field. Bummer. Afraid to see the prognosis.

It was a typical Thursday night game.

No.
There were too many weird play calls for a preseason game.

Special teams cost us 2 wins the last two games.

As I said in the pregame, the Broncos aren't playing as well as their record indicates but a team doesn't have to play well to beat the Raiders. They only need to make less mistakes. Between a deer in headlights QB that can't get rid of the ball fast enough to sloppy special teams and generally sloppy overall play with numerous poorly timed penalties and you have the recipe for a 2-7 football team. At this point I'm beginning to wonder if things would have been better keeping AP around for another season as the offense wasn't great under him but we have entered bed & breakfast territory with Chip and Geno.

Also great scheming to use Bowers as a decoy all night to scheme Lockett favorable matchups. That's genius coaching. I can only imagine what Brady is thinking watching this garbage. Must just kill him inside knowing what a perfectionist he was.

-Refs threw a flag every time we made a big play.
-It's obvious Pete Carroll has no faith in Daniel Carlson. We only attempted one FG despite the fact that we were in FG range multiple times.
-Our elite Edge Rusher was nowhere to be found.
-Thorton HAS to make that catch. For once Geno actually threw a decent ball.
-Jeanty has to catch that pick, but Geno didn't do him any favors throwing it that high.
-Tyler Lockett led the team in catches. I'm not surprised at all.
-Defense has to be the worst in the NFL in giving up long yardage.
-Without Kolton Miller and JPJ we are cooked.

We would have 3 more wins if not for ST's. Raiders aren't as bad as people think. We just need a #1 WR.
