Training wheels come off, it is time to make this a reality.

Welcome to the NFL Mendoza, and welcome to being the leader of the Raiders Klint Kubiak. Let's get this thing going. And yea, as always, I sipped the Koolaid.

I don’t know; been burnt that many times over the last 20 years or more just really don’t have it in me to say this is going to be a great season…..

I mean we really gotta give the new HC a bye this season on how bad he does; his job is safe in 2027….

Mendoza…it has happened before where QB are drafted at number 1 spot and they have turned out to be bust….

I think the raiders are going to have a good season; but the raiders are still a year away from fixing all their holes…they actually need another good draft to fill those holes….

I like that scene from 'Major League' where Randy Quaid and friends are all 'we're going to the series" after the first 3 outs of the game.
But that's a movie.
We'll be better this year. But no playoffs.
I think we will see a lot of things come together. I hope one of them is the O line, but I am pessimistic on that.
I'm not sure if the game is televised in So Cal. I hope so. Need a fix dammit.

It's nice to see actual football but I don't get too excited about preseason. Seeing Mendoza will be fun. Some position battles like RG and in the secondary will be something to keep an eye on.

I predict 2nd half heroics from 1 or 2 of the bottom tier WR group. Shedrick Jackson, EJ Williams, Brandon Johnson...someones from their group making some splash plays in quarter 4.

Here in Vegas and the town is abuzz. Even tho it’s preseason, I’m pumped to actually watch a game and see some of our youngsters compete.

It will be great for Mendoza to get actual game reps, even if it's just preseason. But the most interesting thing to watch is the Oline and the snap count for each guy at each position - aside from C and LT, which are completely locked up.

I hope Cousins doesn't see a snap until the final pre-season games 1st drive.

A 15 year vet doesn't need to play in the pre.

Let Mendoza take all the snaps with the 1s.

Ask me what the new coaching staff does not have?
Live game film of thier team to teach from.

Preseason last year, we could tell the o-line was junk game one. Turned out to be a "harbinger of things to come". If the line seems to have it together, I'll guzzle the kool-aid. The one-two punch of Jeanty and Washington will be fun to watch.

This year preseason truly means more. Not only do we have a new staff and the number 1 pick, but when you take into account that last year the olds taff did not even try with their rookie class, this preseason we are basically watching for like 20+ draft picks. Not to mention the UDFAs that have created a buzz.

The whole game will have actual points of interest rather than just a drive/quarter.
