Just what I wanted to see. A bounce back from last week. At least we competed.

I’d be scouring practice squads for defensive players in the front seven… young secondary needs to keep taking their lumps and learning

Better game offensively. Defense still needs some work. And offense needs to be consistent. But we fought till the end

Agreed. A much better effort than last week in NE, but came up short.
Yes the Defense could have been better, but they were also going against one of the top teams in the NFL.
The biggest issue this game and has also happened earlier in the season is coming out of half. It seems the Defenses make a lot of adjustments and we can't seem to compensate for on Offense. It wasn't until the very end of the 3rd where we got moving again.
That was a killer in this game IMO. At one point we had something like 6 plays and negative 3 yards when they flashed the graphic.

To many f[raiders_icon]cked up opportunities in the red zone...I think Cousins shocked himself on that Bomb to Tucker lol

We're making progress. I love Kubiak. He still has some growing pains to go through as a HC. That challenge on Tucker's catch was mind boggling, considering it was only a three-yard catch.
The defense being completely lost like they were today is just peak Raiders. We have yet to have a defense that can rise to the challenge in games like this. The last 25 years have been so f[raiders_icon]cking frustrating.

Losing sucks but 3 point losses to KC and Buf gives me hope that we are headed in the right direction. We still need pieces and I think next year we will win some of these types of games.
Kirk had the one pick but I’m pretty impressed by him actually.

The team going in the right direction but we are not there yet….Buffalo is team that might represent the AFC in the Super Bowl and we did give them a good fight…..
As for the offensive line; it really hard for them when you have eight men in the box most of the game; we just don’t have that wr that scare the defense

The INT cost us the game!!! We still can't run the ball. But Tucker had himself a game. 97 yards on 5 rec.

I understand the "we aren't there yet" comments. I really do. And I agree. But one thing needs to happen and happen NOW. And that is extending Bowers. We lose him to another team and it's game over.

It’s no fun losing, and emotionally it f[raiders_icon]cking sucks, but we’re not an embarrassment anymore. We don’t look like a keystone cop semi-pro squad. Just young with plenty of holes left to fill.

They need to pay him top WR1 money and just deal with it. They paid Mayer very well too.

Now this will sound odd. Do we need some more horses out there? Yes, but as we have seen, the ones we do have can play. If we didn't, we wouldn't have hung in there with the Bills. In a lot of cases so far its missing by inches which as Any Given Sunday says, it is a game of inches. Meh movie but it got that right.
Another part that is getting lost in all this is we have one of the toughest schedules in the NFL. The fact of playing the AFC East and NFC West isn't doing us any favors this year either.
All this said, can and do we need to improve. Yes. But compared to last year? Five years ago? This team would have folded like a cheap suit.

Defense will be what it is until we get a true NT.
Offense put up 30 points, but you can't turn the ball over with our defense. Our defense will look good at times but can never be consistent unless we have a complete unit.
