Fire Chip Kelly

Figured we can talk about the scheme that is wasting Jeanty, regressing Smith and frustrating the hell out of the fanbase. Not to mention Bech being wasted and a load of other issues.

Everything in between...yep. Fixing this mess is an incomprehensible task. At 66, I seriously doubt I have enough time left to see this team be successful again. I know a few of you are older than me. It would be so great if you.... and I could see at least a competetive team before our time is up.
I hear you I'm 67 and have been a fan since 1966, but I do know the current regime is not the answer & I do not want to waste another year with the current shit show...it's really hard to even care anymore at this point.

Who will be the interim OC?

Does keeping Kelly improve The Raiders chances in the 2026 draft?

I don't think it matters honestly. I've just seen enough of the arrogance and stubbornness that is Chip Kelly. This team is destined for a top 5 pick no matter what happens with the staff.

look higher. We were a shit show before this group and we were shit show before the previous group. We have been a shit show going back to 86 with a couple times where we were not a shit show.

After Flores, we brought in Shanahan, who lasted 20 games. Enter Art Shell who lasts 92 games before he gets canned. Mike White gets two years and enter Bugel (dear god) who gets exactly one year. Who is up next? Jon Gruden who is TRADED after 64 games because the ego of the old man could not allow someone to upstage him. Bill Callahan gets 2 years, actually goes to the Super Bowl and gets shit canned for Norv f[raiders_icon]cking Turner who lasts 2 years. Enter Art Shell who was not even coaching and he gets one year. Lance Kiffin is next who is gone in 20 games in one of the most embarrassing firings I have ever heard of. Who replaces him? Tom Cable who the old man does not even know his name 5 minutes before he is introduced. He is gone after 44 games and we bring in one of my least favorites on this list in Hue Jackson and his f[raiders_icon]cking crocodile tears. Exit Huey and we bring in Dennis Allen under new owner Dufus and he is gone after 36 games. Sparano is not retained after 12 games. Del Rio is in next and he is gone after 48 games, and after Flores he now has been a head coach for us longer than all but 2 of the guys. That is until his replacement f[raiders_icon]cking Jon Gruden who has not coached in almost 2 decades is back. 53 games later he resigns in shame and we do not retain Bisaccia after 12 games and a playoff berth (not that he should have been retained) and who is next? McDaniels lasts 25 games and is gone. And who do we look to next? Antonio Pierce who's one coaching claim to fame is taking a championship level HIGH school team and running it into the ground in one year. Which brings us to Carroll who is likely gone after one season.

Who are the common denominators? A Davis. Who is to blame? A Davis. Who needs to go? The stink of Davis.

I'm by no means a fan of Camel Toe, but he isn't on the field of play..just saying, and I would like him gone to...either way I don't believe it will be resolved in my lifetime.

he hires the talent and many of those guys were hired over the GM's say. He is a f[raiders_icon]cking moron and his old man had way too much ego and control. A Davis tore us down, burning down the Davis's is the first and most important step in fixing this.

I see no other answer at this point. I am not even supporting any option to take over. I want a guy who's only business venture is not owning a sports franchise. I want a guy who knows how to run a business. The problem is, both Al and Dufus only deal with running a sports team. All the other guys know how to run businesses. We need a guy who knows that he does not know shit and is willing to hire guys who know the shit the owner does not know and does not have the time to learn because they are running real businesses.

Yea I'm sure we all want to lay blame, but at the end of the day it's up to the coaches & players to perform in some sort of WTF is acceptable for a professional FB team

I know most people here including me; want Carroll and his coaching staff fired after this season….think we should wait till the end of the season before we make that decision….

Really gotta look at the Raiders; we maybe got five players on the team that could be a starter material on another team…

Bower, JPJ and Jeanty are the future; we just need to build on that; and if the raiders can get decent draft picks for Crosby; I would take it

Well documented that he hired Del Rio before McKenzie had any say.

Well documented that he hired Gruden without McKenzie being in on it.

Well documented that he hired Pierce before he had a GM

Kelly kind of got off to a bad start from the beginning with his mishandling of the center position and personal vendetta with JPJ. It's only got worse with the lack of play action, poorly designed running plays, vanilla pass routes, QB that looks lost running his offense. It's clearly not working out. I feel pretty confident Carroll's going to see another season but very likely there will be changes on the staff and Kelly is making too much money to be this bad at his job.
