Free Agency thread for Raiders and league-wide
Free agency opens March 11. CBS Sports has their top 50 ranking. No Raiders on the list. I am surprised at a couple rated high - Aaron Rodgers and Daniel Jones. Lots of wide receivers

To be a nose tackle you need to be a brick shithouse. Immense strength, to know and understand leverage, anchor in the legs and upper body. Taller guys lose leverage unless they have fantastic and consistent technique. Best to get guys who have done it and proven they can do it rather than pigeon hole a guy on the roster to do it simply because he's a big body

Its JJs second year and he flashed a couple times at 24yo. Whether he can play 0 and cover both the A and B gaps?
Idk
Hope hes in the weight room.

The Panthers are where former first round QBs go to revive their careers. Darnold, Mayfield, now Pickett. Gotta hit bottom before bouncing back up?

Perfect example of how bad our roster was is that Stone Forsythe became our LT when he was grabbed off the scrap heap.

Kyler Murray to the Vikings would be an early Christmas present. A bunch of friends who are Viking fans thought JJ was the truth the way and the light and talked smack when we didn't get a QB that draft. Even after they actually saw him play they still thought he would be a star. Now? Not so much.

So... we done signing guys or what? Still some guys out there that could start for us. Wyatt Teller being one I'd like to bring in.

I could see us standing pat until after the draft at this point.

We'll add some players who missed out on the real money in FA. We still don't have enough guys on the roster - only 61. The next phase is likely some older guys for depth and stability on cheaper deals that can be let go if necessary. I think we need guard depth/competition, but that isn't urgent. An upgrade at RT would be great - I don't think Kubiak really believes we have "stability" at both tackle spots. Or maybe he is just saying that the roster is stable at RT because the guy who stunk there last year is still on the roster.
