Dude. I don't know how far the nearest drinking establishment is to you, but I highly recommend you go grab yourself a tall frosty. Not a bottle of whiskey, just one big beer. You need it.RAIDERMAN818 wrote: Tue Sep 30, 2025 9:14 am So none of the offensive failures and Geno fcking up is Kelly's fault ?
Kelly has been pure crap. It's Kelly's job to design an offense that gets the most out of his players abilities. It's also Kelly's job to make sure that the plays are executed properly and mistakes and turnovers minimized as much as possible.
How'd you like the 3rd and 4th down play calls in the 1st quarter against the Bears ?
Kelly watches the 3rd down QB sneak get absolutely blown up. Meredith destroyed.
Now, putting aside whether Pete should have gone for it on 4th and a long one.....how the fck do you call that goddamn run up the gut that's been getting annihilated for the entire season thus far ????
Jeanty was crushed almost before he got the handoff.
At least it wasn't out of the shot gun. LMAO.
None of that is Kelly's fault though, eh ?
Bet you loved the 1st and 2nd down play calls inside the Bear 10 when were up by 2 points and a TD would have iced the game. Those two shotgun runs were real beauties.
Geno missing Thornton on the subsequent 3rd down wasn't Kelly's fault - but a lot of crap that's gone on offensively this year most definitely has been.
Highest paid OC in the NFL and we're consistently running unimaginative runs up the gut into 8 man boxes with an undersized Meredith and weak ass Parham....and that's not on Chip ?

I think he's tried, but with no running game until this past Sunday, you can't really rely on the strengths of a guy who doesn't have many strengths. What I think Chip could do to minimize Geno's analytical processes is to throw more quick hitters over the middle, and call more short-intermediate routes. Some middle screens could help slow down the pass rush too.ToastPatterson wrote: Tue Sep 30, 2025 9:19 am No, but he can better game plan to Geno's strength's and weaknesses. Maybe he needs to simply things. I dunno, I am not in the QB room.
Also, Geno has some wheels. He's no Lamaar, but he's capable of pulling off some successful RPOs.

Chip did not throw three picks in a game nor did he allow a blocked field goalRAIDERMAN818 wrote: Tue Sep 30, 2025 3:04 pm Wait a minute....I thought none of this was Chip's fault.

Much like anything, its likely a variety of factors. Geno blame? Sure. Kelly? Sure. etc.

I think the middle of the field is the problem. That's Geno's game and defenses know it. On the contrary, we need to throw outside the numbers more.
Instead of dagger, we should overload the disguised Tampa 2 with flood concepts. Thornton vertical, bowers running a corner route with Jeanty underneath could destroy defenses.

I don't think you can ever fully get his INTs down, at best you can mitigate them somewhat, at least one would hope.heavyD wrote: Tue Sep 30, 2025 1:18 pm What are Gino’s strengths exactly? Penchant for forcing balls into tight coverage? Penchant for throwing picks? Only thing Chip can do at this stage is simplify the offense as he would for a first time rookie starting QB but if you have to neuter the offense for the veteran starter then what exactly are we doing here?
The bigger question is why has he reverted to NYJ Geno?
In terms of INTs, he averaged 9 a year with the Jets (rookie season having 21 total).
With Seattle a bit over 7 per season.
With us he's at 7 1/4 of the way into the season.
Generally you don't get this much regression especially a vet QB, because at the pace he's at that's 30 INTs for the season. I'm more interested in finding out or ruling out there isn't something fundamentally wrong with the offensive scheme.
Note to all I'm not excusing Smith, INTs are his to own.

I usually just quickly browse the game day threads as I am watching the game. Last Sunday for whatever reason I followed it closer. As soon as the game started there was a group of "contributors" that instantly started going after another poster and the target of their flaming is one that I feel brings a lot to the forum. I mean they literally entered the thread asking where he was by name.Willmark wrote: Tue Sep 30, 2025 2:37 pm Wait, that’s the actual excuse you’re trying? Neither time was you?
Yeah…not buying that.
It reminded me of Bogs and the Sisters ganging up on Andy Dufrense in the Shawshank Redemption.
Weird shit.

He should take all the running out of the gun plays in the playbook, wipe his ass and burn them on the spot...Get Jeanty moving forward not standing there while Geno hands it to him........Kelly Sux ballzHellbound wrote: Tue Sep 30, 2025 9:36 am When you have shit to work with, you get shit results. It's like Chip has no insight into how Geno reads the defense or makes the choices in real time on the game time field. There isn't a mind meld going on there; the play may be perfect if (fill in the blank) was the QB, but it's Geno there and he doesn't think that way.Willmark wrote: Tue Sep 30, 2025 3:52 pm I don't think you can ever fully get his INTs down, at best you can mitigate them somewhat, at least one would hope.

Can The Fresno Fraud just STFU...He was never a Raider and never will be....Guy is all about himself and that's it....Turd quit on 2 teams and has gotta have the record for 4th and Fk it plays........Even the Gophers are glad he's goneLayneStaley wrote: Tue Sep 30, 2025 10:29 am
I’ll take 3 Geno picks every game over this fraud. Only QB I’ve ever seen fall to the ground in the fetal position for a sack without being touched.

Sould have forced him to play out that final year of his contract as a prove it year....Geno is average with a good team around him, with this O-line,shit playcaller, etc of course he's gonna get exposed......Only thing different from the last fat contract starter is geno actually has some fire and tries to win,he just isn't a great QB....We overpaid AGAIN.....I'd rather pay a Minshew on the cheap than overpay multiple Turds that may get us a handful more wins.Atlasffa wrote: Tue Sep 30, 2025 5:39 pm It's like Chip has no insight into how Geno reads the defense or makes the choices in real time on the game time field. Star building the Trenches and defense, then if the right QB is available grab him......not a fan of drafting any QB just because we need one.....Ask the steeles how that worked out with Pickett...Ironically he's here too

Neither can you,Carr throws 3 INTs and takes 5 sacks against the Chargers in 2022 and it's everyone elses fault from the HC to the Waterboy.FlyBono24 wrote: Tue Sep 30, 2025 12:37 pm Carr has been gone for 3 years now but a few of you can't get his dick out of your mouths apparently
Geno throws INTs and now it's the QB's fault........
Care to explain the logic behind these different takes speaking of dicks in mouths?
On another note have you now left the Saints board or did they simply ban you when couldn't fathom anyone there thought your Boy was a Fraud and sucked as well? I'll give them credit, didn't take them 9 fking seasons..........AND HOW YOUR BOYS SEASON ENDING SHOULDER INJURY???? LMAO Guy took his ball and went home twice now and got the same HC fired twice......He sure is something

It reminds me of Jameis Winston, he ended up getting laser surgery or glasses after the season. Maybe Geno needs to start wearing his James Worthy goggles on the field.Willmark wrote: Tue Sep 30, 2025 3:52 pm I don't think you can ever fully get his INTs down, at best you can mitigate them somewhat, at least one would hope.
