The dirt balls had a plan in place the whole time. Everything was premeditated. When I initially heard we had deal with Baltimore I was surprised. It was Biscotti that set up the vote that excluded us from sharing a stadium with the rams in L.A.Raiders Baby wrote: Thu Mar 19, 2026 12:06 pm ^ I had a similar thought at the time. When Maxx was traded to Baltimore, it was a little confusing because it takes a very generous interpretation of the facts to consider Baltimore a win-now team. They’re not totally doomed, they have some exciting pieces on paper, but they aren’t a “pass rusher away” type of team either.
If Baltimore actually intended to make the trade, it was a fairly gross miscalculation. It almost certainly would have backfired. I’m also on the F Baltimore bandwagon, but even as a newly-minted Baltimore hater I have to admit they are a well-run organization. They rarely make mistakes like the one you’re describing, and I generally agree with your assessment.
Ergo, another piece of anecdotal evidence that the trade was never made in good faith and was strictly a way to control the pass rush market in their favor

Not me. I want the ravens to be “Carrd”. Mass failure with glimpses of hope that keep them in draft day purgatory. Win meaningless games but get slapped down by your division rivals. I want their fans to feel our pain the last few decadeschucker wrote: Thu Mar 19, 2026 7:06 am I will be rooting against the Ravens every week. I may even root for John Harbaugh and the Giants just to spite the Ravens...... but I don't like Harbaugh or the Giants so that might be tough.

No matter how one looks at this, it’s legal it’s justified, etc etc.
Doesn’t matter one bit.
What does? The Ravens FO and GM comes out looking like a bunch of jackwagons.

Personally, I think the Ravens are already nearing purgatory. Offensively and defensively, they're simply nowhere near as good as they were just a couple years ago.Xramfan wrote: Thu Mar 19, 2026 9:11 pm Not me. I want the ravens to be “Carrd”. Ravens are definitely on a down swing. They may be able to hold on another year and win the division because their division stinks though

They need Bowlcut level of leadership and decision making for that to happen,Xramfan wrote: Thu Mar 19, 2026 9:11 pm Not me. I want the ravens to be “Carrd”. But.... there is still the Steelers. They stink and still make the playoffs, because there is no team in the league with as much dumb luck as the f[raiders_icon]cking Squeelers. Have I mentioned how much I hate them?DanKD wrote: Fri Mar 20, 2026 3:08 pm Ravens are definitely on a down swing. My hate for them mirrors yours. Hate them more than our division foes.Dr Death wrote: Sat Mar 21, 2026 5:28 am But.... there is still the Steelers. I get the whole tampering period = nothing is real thing… but it’s kind of getting to the point where you wonder how this doesn’t get investigated.Willmark wrote: Fri Mar 20, 2026 7:16 am No matter how one looks at this, it’s legal it’s justified, etc etc.

I mean the more info that comes out, the more it looks like Baltimore entered a trade agreement that they never intended to fulfil. At some point youd think there’s a distinction between changing your mind and bad faith negotiations.

raven d fell off a cliff last yr and i dont see it recovering much this yr
offense is on the downside, eventually king henry is gonna give, you cant get pounded like he does and not get hurt over time, same goes for lamar whom was never a great passer (avg ) it was always his legs that made him elite and now he is showing age and getting injured more n more
