I want Brady all the way out of coaching and personnel decisions. Why can't we ever f'ing ever, just ever have a normal GM who does GM things? There's always gotta be some wrinkle like Grudock, AP getting hired before the GM, and now we have Tawm Bwrady throwing gummed-up dogshit into the gears.Xramfan wrote: Mon Jan 05, 2026 10:23 am He had to go but I’m getting pretty fcking sick of firing coaches every fcking year.
BradyTek need to find a solid hire and let him cook for a few years. This shit has to change
it also doesn't mean that he doesn't know how to run things...ELCAraiderfan wrote: Mon Jan 05, 2026 3:01 pm Oh lord this franchise is a complete cluster fck.
Lets start all over again for the millionth time in 25 years....so glad that this team has become nothing to me compared to what it was 20 years ago.
So who's the fcking coach going to be this time?
and fck tom brady. ex players are very rarely any good at running football organizations. just because they won playing doesn't translate into knowing how the fck to manage everything.
Its unknown if Pete let them get away or they wanted to go elsewhere.chucker wrote: Mon Jan 05, 2026 2:37 pm Letting those good players get away last year might work out for us..... One more win and we'd still be in QB hell. And we got some comp picks and we have lots of cap space. This year we may as well spend cap because our FA class isn't going to reap any comp pick rewards.
yeah michael jordon and magic johnson proved that theory so well. The only former player I think of who did exceptional job in the front office was Ozzie Newsome.riseNraid09 wrote: Mon Jan 05, 2026 3:08 pm it also doesn't mean that he doesn't know how to run things...
He's been a huge part of a winning organization and has seen what is necessary to achieve that level of success, it's not crazy to assume he knows what he is doing.
as long as they hire coaches that fit Mendoza's strengthschucker wrote: Mon Jan 05, 2026 2:56 pm Are you sure it's "normal" for a GM to hire the coach entirely on his own without some kind of collaborative process? My guess is that it is not. Personally I have no problem at all with Brady's involvement, as long as he isn't forcing something that Spytek doesn't really like.
Worked out extremely well, but the admission that we didn’t properly evaluate our own guys isn’t great news.chucker wrote: Mon Jan 05, 2026 2:37 pm Letting those good players get away last year might work out for us..... The other side is Brady has been in the league a long time and has access to people that maybe wouldn't look our way otherwiseELCAraiderfan wrote: Mon Jan 05, 2026 3:42 pm yeah michael jordon and magic johnson proved that theory so well.
