He’s a solid bridge QB and hopefully this rules out Sanders
It definitely rules out DK.

Hate losing the pick. But can live with Geno if his contract is reasonable. If Graham, Cater, Hunter, Ward and Sanders are gone, I hope they trade down a few, pick up another 2nd and 3rd etc and then still get a stud most likely Jeanty, Walker etc.
You realize Smith is not mobile and was sacked a whopping 50 times last season?
500 yards avg the last three years isn't bad at all. Yep lots of sacks, that is where we will always need a good OL and good OC'ing, all a part of a QB's success.
It's a starting guard, linebacker, or cornerback.
If you’re lucky AND good it’s a starter.

Well, he is better than what we had. He makes a lot of plays.
Good bridge to a draft pick. Lets see what Kelly can do with him.

What a stupid trade, he is terrible and not even worth a 3rd round pick!

Typical f[raiders_icon]cking Raiders trash move and they'll double down on this BS and sign him to too much money!

Diana Russini of The Athletic reports that the Seahawks are targeting Sam Darnold to replace Geno Smith.
The Seahawks traded Smith to the Raiders on Friday for a third-round pick, and if they have their druthers, they’ll replace him with Darnold. The 27-year-old quarterback is looking for a three-year deal, and with Seattle having nothing else in the pipeline — and a draft pick that likely won’t allow them to target a signal-caller — it’s likely they’ll be willing to honor that task. While Darnold’s final two games were less-than-ideal, he was impressive in helping the Vikings make the postseason, and there’s no denying the upside in his right arm.
YOU CAN'T MAKE THIS SHIT UP!
Dude... Again, its the compensation and the new incoming deal. Geno Smith as a 35 year old bridge QB for a 6th or 7th round pick and a 1 year deal, nobody would be bitching. You have to account for the awful value here.
You lol, that’s one of most common words in your posts I’ve noticed. Scouring the internet most insiders believe the compensation is fair if not favoring the Raiders. I’m not a Geno guy but he has less wear and tear than most 35 year old QBs and the way QBs are protected I have no concerns about him playing till he’s 38(the current age of Stafford). What was your answer at QB? I’ve heard about how horrible all the QBs mentioned are from your posts but nothing about a resolution, surely it can’t be tanking? So what was the correct move?
