Las Vegas Raiders 8-9
I like that the Raiders address a couple Major needs. QB, RB, WR, DT and Safety. This offseason.
We are top tier at. PK Carlson - P Cole & have solid special teams play.
Geno Smith is a solid QB. He will keep everyone on the same page on offense.
We have the ability to run the ball, if the OL can gel and stay health. We should be a top 10 running team with RB Jentry. I'm hopeful he can get over 1200 yards rushing this year. It would be nice to see steady improvement from WR Besh & WR Thornton. We have the best TE in the game and that will help the young players.
We now have a strong area on the team with are DL - With the departure of Wilkins we can now get everyone involved. The Rookies have played light out and Booker looks like a steal. We have 7 different DT. I feel this was what helped the Philadelphia Eagles dismantle the Chiefs in the super bowl. The Cowboys of the 1990s under Jimmy Johnson ran this concept of always having fresh players on the D-Line.
DE Crosby
DT Laulu DT Hemingway DT Pegues DT Carter
DT Butler DT Booker DT Wilson
DE Koonce DE Wilson DE Snowden
I like the experienced veterans we will have at LB Nothing will fool them. Are CB's Will be the make or break on this Defense.
It basically comes down to how quickly CB Kelly and Porter can learn on the job. Can Kelly and Porter stay in the starting line up?
I would Like to see a Veteran CB come in Via free agency to help this young unit.
We are in good hands with the combo of SS Chinn FS Edwards & Palo Malo at Safety.
My predictions is :
8 WINS
with a window of 7 WINS TO 10 WINS

I'll stick with my 9 win prediction. Theres is a very good chance this won't happen, but I feel like I need to stay optimistic. I wonder why after the last 30 years???

I'm very optimistic about the offense. I think it could be a top 10 unit. But we need a lot of question marks to go right on defense - because the defense is way more questions than answers. Maybe this is the year things finally go our way.

I prefer going into the season with optimism and suggested 8 or 9 wins, but after the preseason I think 5 wins is the bar.

After the pre-season sh!t show,
Lack of quality depth will be an issue
Secondary is non existent
Failure of ownership to stabilize the Coaching and general manager position will again be the downfall which we continue to see on a weekly basis due to past poor drafting and free agent signings..
I’ll guarantee this, 3 14 possibly 4 13
#1 pick secured and big Arch stays in school!
Priceless

I have no idea, I do not think we saw anything close to the actual offense we are going to run. My gut says 7 wins unless Geno goes down early. If that happens, we could struggle to get 3 wins. While I like Miller in the future, I have said repeatedly he needs to sit and learn. I have not changed in that regard. But that may have to change and that does not make me a happy man. You do not rush the development of a QB if you can avoid it.

Be easier for Pete to fire him mid season too while he's on the sidelines instead of up in the booth.

Seven and ten. Or put another way, 7-10. Pete and Company need another year to turn this roster over. I mean, look at the defensive side of the ball -- way too many question marks. Our offense should be in the bottom of the top third, that is, pretty good.

Depends upon the O line gelling, which I am no longer sure about.RunOverByHubbard wrote: Sun Aug 24, 2025 4:32 pm Seven and ten. Or put another way, 7-10. I’m going with 8-9.
I can’t see the wheels completely falling off with Pete. His teams always have a level of professionalism and competence.
I think we’ll be competitive especially on offence. I just don’t see it with this defence though. Maxx will be Maxx but beyond that there’s not much help. Koonce needs to have a monumental breakout because it looks like we’re not gonna be covering anyone.
