Tonight’s match up is the Packers hosting Washington.

This is a battle of 2 mediocre teams with 2 bad QBs. Thursday games have been at least entertaining thus far but this is ugly

This game is a snoozer. Wish Geno had some of these Darnold pockets. Damn.

I have to admit this is the first Darnold game I have watched. Reading this board I thought he was a Marino/Montana hybrid. He is still Darnold. Not saying Geno has been great but I can't believe people are losing sleep over not getting Darnold . He has all day to throw and is still averaging under 200 yards a game. It reminds me of the old South Park turd sandwich/ giant touches debate

Darnold is a better scrambler than Geno.

Yeah he’s a game manager on a stacked team. Top 10 D, a Top 5 WR, 2 really good backs and a very improved offensive line. Not saying game managers are bad but the Hawks are just asking Sam not to lose the game.

Cardinals were dumb for not letting the clock go down more. Should have called the timeout with 15-20 seconds.

I think Darnold is an above average QB when he has good protection, but he looked terrible under pressure in the playoffs last year. I preferred Geno because I had no faith in the OL and thought he could handle the pressure better.

That said, I'm starting to question my logic regarding scrambling QBs. Minshew has much better legs than AOC, but he got sacked many more times last year (29 vs 10). Geno, also a better runner) is on about the same pace as Minshew. I'm not sure how that works.

It means our line was shit last year and got worse this year.

Spytek: “if only we had a Baker Mayfield type opportunity available like when I was in Tampa”

If only…
