Fire Chip Kelly

Figured we can talk about the scheme that is wasting Jeanty, regressing Smith and frustrating the hell out of the fanbase. Not to mention Bech being wasted and a load of other issues.

I don’t like the spacing. Get guys in space. Why is there even opportunity for anyone to be triple covered? That tells me you got too many rights in the same part of the field

I saw that he tried to run trips to get defenses out of cover 2/3 zone so that’s a step in the right direction, but until Thornton starts to high point passes and actually get open, the passing game is gonna continue to be locked down with minimal effort. This is why we tried to bring in cooper. We see it right now.

We don't have yet an OC problem. We have a QB problem.

I wonder if Geno’s 9 INT has CK leery of opening up the playbook more? He almost had his third 3 INT game in 5 games.

I think we have both. But Chip's setups and his play calling is killing us. We have the stud RB from the draft and other than one game he has not been used correctly at all.

Its not working. None of it. Chip is just not NFL material. Gino is on pace for 30 (yes thirty) interceptions. Pete is struggling to figure things out and may possibly have personnel issues (will rear its head as the losses mount). Mark is a f[raiders_icon]cking moron. Everything else is good.

He got the most out of the QB and called a game to maximise the talent he had on the team. I miss that from an offensive coaching point of view. The Gm part of him, hell no. But my god I would love him to use Bowers like he used Waller with choice routes

Pete throwing Chip under the bus lol. I’m not saying it’s all on Chip cause it definitely isn’t but I bet PC never wanted him and Brady/Spy forced him on Pete.

Anybody that doesn't think Chip is part of the problem doesn't understand the game of football. And this is coming from one of Geno's biggest haters. They both suck.

I think everyone is an agreement that Chip is a huge part of the problem.

I forget who mentioned it but someone after the Commanders game mentioned his system wouldn’t translate to the NFL because of the hash marks (much wider in college, 40 feet apart compared to 18.5 in NFL). This creates a wider playing area in the middle of the field compared to the NFL and influences play-calling.

You'd think being a former NFL coach that Chip would be able to adjust. How were his offenses with the Eagles and 49ers?

Chip is a problem but in the timing of his playcalls. He needs to clean that up. Too many times we have open guys and Geno throws to the other team.

3 biggest problems on offense in order.

1. Geno
2. Offensive line (has been better than terrible the last couple games).
3. Kelly. STOP GUN RUNNING!

LayneStaley wrote: Wed Oct 08, 2025 6:32 pm If you have a struggling QB why do you call a pass play on 2nd and goal from the 2 yard line when you have taken your opening drive right down the field. Why wouldn’t you pound Jeanty twice with a lead blocker. Chip trying to outsmart everyone won’t work.
He has it in for Jeanty now because he changed his stance back

I’m starting to think Chip doesn’t make it through the season.
