He and Mina are held up as golden standards for absolutely no reason.

He led the league in Intereceptions last year. When he became available in Seattle, teams weren't knocking down the door to get him, luckily, Seattle had dementia Pete to recoup a third rounder. Wish we had a confused old man to give us something for Derek.heavyD wrote: Fri Nov 07, 2025 2:23 pm Geno was better in Seattle. As with everyone else, he’s become worse in silver and black.

Geno had one good statistical year in Seattle but has never been a good QB. The media and fools like Ted above made you believe he was.

I’m not in the locker room but his leadership seemingly sucks. Always has awful body language on the sideline, clearly blames others on the field, deflects during press conferences.
There doesn’t appear to be one leader on offense.

I think we need to start swinging the bat at QB with our first pick. And unfortunately for him he's going to have to start day 1. Mendoza would be the first choice but chances are we won't be in a position to take him. Dante Moore is only a sophomore so not sure he would enter the draft. Taylen Green is mobile with a good arm and plays in the SEC but has thrown 8 interceptions which is Geno like.
We have to take a chance on someone.

We need the guys around him to play better. Then he will play better. He’s never been a guy that covers up glaring defects. Only elite QBs do that

He's been in the league long enough to know to get out of the tackle box yet he still sits in it. I know our line is shit, but knowing that why would you sit back there if your supposed to be a mobile QB? Move your ass. He's not mobile anymore if he ever was.NoClapsPlease wrote: Fri Nov 07, 2025 4:09 pm We need the guys around him to play better. Then he will play better. Looking that way isn't it. I mean he trotted a one legged Geno that could barley walk out there when he had a perfectly healthy qb on the sideline ready to go. He signed a washed Lockett to prop up his qb. This isn't hard to figure out, Geno's his ride or die and there's no denying that at this point. Think he's just tossing Geno to the curb after seeing that last night? I sure as hell don'tBoKnows81 wrote: Fri Nov 07, 2025 3:20 pm Lol but but but there's actual real life humans that think Geno will be our QB next year smh.
Mock it all you want but we sat through how many years of saying there's no way Carr's our qb next year

Said it many many times, the worst part is we could had him play out the final year of his contract without giving him a big $$$ extension before ever taking a snap....Pure lunacy......Have him play out this year on his old deal and if/when he sux ballz cut your losses at giving up a 3rd for him and move on!h

Yep Pete is doing everything possible to try and make geno look serviceable even if it's to the detriment of the team overall...If Carroll is still here next year my $$$ is on Geno will be as well...Book it!Hellbound wrote: Fri Nov 07, 2025 4:40 pm Looking that way isn't it.
