Fire Pete Carroll
I didn't see a thread yet, I wanted Pete to be able to stay a few years to rebuild us back, but it is clear to me that he is clueless on how to fix what is broken. We have made the same mistakes every week, with no corrections. He has to go! Thoughts?

I wonder if they give Pete a year 2 with the conditions he replaces most of staff and stays out of personnel decisions. Not saying it’s the right thing to do I just wonder if paying 4 coaches next season and potentially not having any of the top candidates interested play a role in a Carroll firing. Getting the first pick would definitely help lure a promising coach here, especially if Mendoza or Simpson impress during the CFP and combine.

Right now, only Davis and Spytek should have any ideas/thoughts about what could happen Monday January 8.

Another bungled up move. This was never going to be a long term solution. You were always going to have to reset it in a few yrs. Even if as rumored they wanted Saleh as a hc in waiting. He's going to churn the roster to fit his vision of the team when he takes over
No shit no one knows what the f[raiders_icon]ck is going on inside the building. Nothing makes sense. It's almost like 12 different people were told to hire whomever they wanted. Mark needs to put a stop to it and get a pecking order in place. Also for God f[raiders_icon]cking sakes, quit giving the hc more power than the gm

Davis shouldn't have any f[raiders_icon]cking say. He keeps making clusterfuck move after clusterfuck move. It's beyond ridiculousRickRyb wrote: Sat Dec 06, 2025 9:35 am Right now, only Davis and Spytek should have any ideas/thoughts about what could happen Monday January 8.

I'm not saying he has a say or doesn't, but as the owner he has every right to know, in advance, what Spytek's plan might be.Hellbound wrote: Sat Dec 06, 2025 9:42 am Davis shouldn't have any fcking say. He keeps making clusterfuck move after clusterfuck move. It's beyond ridiculous

Meh. I don't know that I agree with that. If people were more willing to admit to know what they don't know, they'd make better decisions and trust others to run the show. So, having the right to know or not, I personally think Mark shouldn't want to know and should rely on others to make football related decisions.RickRyb wrote: Sat Dec 06, 2025 10:31 am I'm not saying he has a say or doesn't, but as the owner he has every right to know, in advance, what Spytek's plan might be.
The more Mark knows, the worse off we will be. Having a say and having the right to know are also completely different. I don't believe Mark should have either IMO.

PC has to go, nothing good can possibly happen by retaining him, no more retread coaches find a young innovative HC, and hope to God the Raider mystique doesn't turn him into a steaming pile of shit the first year, and of coarse Geno must be permanently banned from ever entering Allegiant stadium again!!!

Marcus Freeman looking like the top guy teams will be looking at this offseason with what he has done at Notre Dame
IF we fire PC then i wouldn’t be mad at us taking a shot at the next hot shot college HC to the pros
It would be far easier to get behind as it would feel fresh & not another retread
If we do the deed & pull the trigger let’s hope they make it a young coach who can improvise & bring something new

I like Marcus Freeman but I doubt he would leave Notre Dame for the Raiders. We now rate lower than the upper teir of the NCAA. Fact of life gents.CWood24 wrote: Sat Dec 06, 2025 12:10 pm Marcus Freeman looking like the top guy teams will be looking at this offseason with what he has done at Notre Dame

Mark, just sign the checks. Let Spytek run the show.

Figured I have now been here long enough to now be on a first name basis with you all.

Pete has literally mismanaged the f[raiders_icon]ck out of everything. But at some point we need to keep a coach.
