Donks invade the desert game day thread
The Raiders are hosting Denver today. I don’t know about the rest of you but I hate the idea of getting swept by the Horsefacses.

Only thing I can think of is he hopes there is 1 sec on the clock after the FG. You couldnt get a TD in 3 secs.pfish57 wrote: Sun Dec 07, 2025 5:46 pm 100 % & Portnoy knows a lot about gambling...why would anyone with all their faculty's kick a FG in that situation!

It's not too hard to justify the FG at the end. A hail mary would have definitely run out the clock, but with the FG, maybe you get a second, or two, left. If you recover the onsides kick and no time runs, you can still go for the hail mary.

I think Portnoy lost a bundle. He didnt even mention the Donks skipping a short FG attempt that would have made it 27-14. Not sure what his reasoning is for PC to go to prison for kicking a FG there.

I live on the planet where there were five seconds left, and the refs could have technically stopped the clock when the kick went through the uprights with one second left. LOL.

The more I think about it, Payton's decision not to kick that FG is more suspicious than PC kicking the FG. Big difference between needing a TD and a FG and needing 2 TDs.

He sounds fat, drunk, definitely a conspiracy theorist, and he almost certainly lost money on the game.

5 seconds on the clock according to CBS sports. The live feed shows 4 secs on the stopped clock as the ref is announcing the penalty. Maybe they added 1 second.
