What the Raiders need.....2026

Next year the Raiders need to hire an up and coming offensive coach who has earned the opportunity to be a head coach. No more retreads or coaches who haven't worked their way up through the coaching farm. They tried hiring Ben Johnson and when that didn't succeed fell back on Pete Carroll. Hopefully we have better luck next year.

Draft a QB that can pair with the coach. No need for a retread QB unless a really great option becomes available (Stafford this year would've been great but was a pipe dream). I wouldn't mind AOC battling out the newly drafted rookie in camp.

Build the offensive line with the 2nd rd pick, through free agency, and a few we still have under contract. This is the most important step and hopefully the new coach can get a stellar O-line coach. IF Miller needs to be traded due to cap and his age I'm ok with that trade. Biggest issue is that the O-line needs to be the off season focus.

The defense also needs some help through free agency.

Yup...and I have the very same situation with the current owner of the NY Yanks...the owners either have no clue or simply don't care. Maybe because neither of the current owners have ever had to build anything in their entire life and were both given the keys to historic franchises. And neither has the passion for winning like their Fathers did. (and yes, I know that Al's last years were not his best)

Both franchises would be much better off with new ownership.

What the Raiders have to do 1st before anything after the end of this season would be to get rid of Little Markie. But since that isn't going to happen unless DNA testing could prove he's not AD son and maybe that could void his ownership.

But since that won't happen, Then the 1st thing that HAS to happen is take down/REMOVE that stupid ass fake torch!

Maybe that's keeping the curse alive? at this point try anything.

Besides the curse, name any other sports franchise that worships a former owner or whatever this way. I've always thought that lighting that fire in Oakland was stupid and fake lighting that fake torch is still retardly stupid. Get rid of it.

Got to the point where we need to move on from Crosby…. It’s a shame Rams have two young stud DEs because I think they’d be aggressive enough to give us both of their 1sts this year for him.

Who do we think would be a an option…

I like Washington, aggressive GM, need an edge and rookie QB contract. Plus top 10 pick this year…

Panthers might want to get a star edge next to Brown and they could convince themselves it’s the answers… mid round pick this year but Young could break down at any moment….
