Giants at Raiders toilet bowl of the year game thread
Just two more games to go before the season ends.
Depending on how this game goes. This thread could turn into an Airing of Grievances

That is brilliant. And watching it with a Giants fan is added fun. Now if the rest of us could only tune into that. Enjoy the game and gamesmanship.FLORIDARAYDAH wrote: Sun Dec 28, 2025 6:16 am Im watching this one with a lifelong Giants fan I have known forever. We are wearing each others jersey. I have always found it hard to sit there and root for a loss even when its better for the team.I usually just wont watch. But this year we are so bad we have to lose out

A full reporting of what transpires in the seats around the arena would be great.DrDUne wrote: Sun Dec 28, 2025 7:22 am It’s a strange phenomena. I was really torn on going to this game or not - because like you, I’m truly wanting a Raiders loss. It’s going to be extremely strange being in the stands, in Raiders attire, but hoping they come out of there 2-14.
Do I cheer when the Giants score? Can’t do that. Do I celebrate when Geno throws an interception? Can’t do that either. Not outwardly, at least.

The players on the field will be playing at 100% for their own pride.

I agree, which is why management has to take charge here and do the right thing. Putting Maxx on IR was a step in the right direction and may show that Doofus is getting it -- despite having a cash cow product by moving to Las Vegas, he could be much richer and have more glory (and surround himself with more sycophants and pretty girls) by actually fielding a good, playoff team.RickRyb wrote: Sun Dec 28, 2025 8:35 am The players on the field will be playing at 100% for their own pride.

I think the only thing it proves is that Mark isn't making the decisions anymore, we'd never be doing these moves with Mark in control (as proven every single time in the past).RunOverByHubbard wrote: Sun Dec 28, 2025 9:56 am I agree, which is why management has to take charge here and do the right thing. Less than 2 months until Dodgers Spring Training baseball begins.
That's literally what's keeping me going, sports-wise (well, that and the Ducks in the CFB playoffs).
