Fire Pete Carroll
I didn't see a thread yet, I wanted Pete to be able to stay a few years to rebuild us back, but it is clear to me that he is clueless on how to fix what is broken. We have made the same mistakes every week, with no corrections. He has to go! Thoughts?

Gruden had winning experience too. Was it good to give him control?KillerRaider30 wrote: Mon Dec 29, 2025 1:17 pm Does Pete have more winning experience than them all put together or close. If yes, Pete is good to have in control imo.

Tearing it down is all Mark's done since taking over and that starts with firing HCs.RickRyb wrote: Mon Dec 29, 2025 8:21 am Who should make the decision "to tear this down"? Mark Davis, who many say he should stay out of the football operation. Tom Brady? Who many say he's a great QB, but knows nothing about football operation. Who should be retained to start The Raiders' future? Who should be hired?
What's he up to now?

If Spy and Pete were making a decision on a draft pick who gets the respect? Pete.RickRyb wrote: Mon Dec 29, 2025 8:23 am Do you think Spytek gave Carroll too much control? Or was it a condition Carroll demanded to be hired?
I dont think Spy has the say Pete does.

only if we buy it.
Guys like Hondo and Sanjit are such homers.
Pete never gives his opinion on outcomes.
He states we're going to compete or chance to or give our player the best chance to.
We're going to put the best players on the field and so on. We like what we've seen so far out of him. He's practicing hard everyday.
What would we have a HC say? We're re going to suck? We have no chance...

I dont think a rookie HC fresh out of college knows more about how to build a team in the NFL than Pete Carroll but I agree to disagree.raider_kin wrote: Mon Dec 29, 2025 1:14 pm No, it spells "rebuild the team."
And that is what we need.

Do you think that maybe part of the deal was a change in coordinaters specifically his son's and a new young offensive coordinator that can take over when/if he retires or is fired?Attyla wrote: Mon Dec 29, 2025 9:36 am I guarantee you guys that if we lose the next game and Pete is back that they had a deal behind the scenes.

No but he should have been more realistic. His basic message was we were going to win a lot of games. He should never have gone there.KillerRaider30 wrote: Mon Dec 29, 2025 1:36 pm only if we buy it.

"We are going to win a bunch of games," Carroll said. "I can't even imagine anything else. I've been winning 10 games a year for 20 years or something. I mean, what are my expectations? We are going to win a bunch, and I don't care who hears that.
"It ain't about what anybody hears. It's about what we do, and so that's why expectations are really high. The standards need to be so that the expectations can be met. We'll see what happens."
