On to the chiefs.
The Raiders finish the year at home hosting a chiefs team that isn’t going to the playoffs and is without Kermit.

In a manner of speaking, it sure is.BoKnows81 wrote: Mon Dec 29, 2025 6:54 am What you mean? It's been the greatest season in the last 20+ years. We're finally gonna get our QB.
The problem with our previous Boy Wonder at QB is he kept us consistently mediocre and drafting between 8 to around 15; basically the worst place to be in the draft. I don't have the quote but one year he said something to the effect of "trying to mess up draft rankings". No doubt to prevent us from drafting his replacement.
Like FF, we needed to be at either end of the draft and saddled with a QB that didn't move the needle enough on his own? Here we are.

yes. Jets would have way less than 0.5% chance. We would have to win vs KC and there is also a slate of 7 games and all 7 would have to go the Jets way. And 2 of those games are the Herbertless LAC beating Den who is trying for a bye, and Ten beating JAX who are also potentially chasing a 1st round bye.BoKnows81 wrote: Mon Dec 29, 2025 2:03 pm OK good to know. So if the Giants win, we're pretty much locked in to the #1 pick regardless the outcome of our game?
edit: with LAR loss to ATL, Jets cant pass LV in draft order. We have no lower than 2nd pick now.

Fat Andy could not care less if the Raiders have the 1st pick.
He's pretty sure no matter who it is, that player will fail.

LoL-do you think Schottenheimer would have cut us any slack had he been in this situation?Sold My Soul wrote: Tue Dec 30, 2025 9:10 pm Fat Andy could not care less if the Raiders have the 1st pick.

Andy would love to conclude this season laying an ass whipping on us. Andy can't be bargained with. Andy will not stop.

“I’d like to have fun playing football, practice with a lot of energy, get ready for a game. We’re playing Kansas City,” Carroll said. “They won the freaking division for 10 years straight or whatever it is. It’ll be fun to play them. Fun to go against Andy [Reid], to me. And so, there’s no reason for us to think about anything other than playing ball. From the locker room, that’s what I said to them afterward, that we got one week to do something special. Let’s make sure that we do everything we can to create that, and we’ll see what happens.”
Raiders have their bags packed. I'd be shocked if the Raiders score a point.

Bay Area again spared the game. Interesting that the Bay Area gets the Washington game but no California team or Vegas. Doesnt make sense.RaiderandBulldog wrote: Wed Dec 31, 2025 11:54 am Coverage map for the game.

Vegas Nation’s Vincent Bonsignore believes the Raiders will use “a combination of Kenny Pickett and Aidan O’Connell” in Week 18 against the Chiefs.
Bonsignore seems to imply both players will take reps in Week 18. Pickett has been the first player off the bench, so we assume he will get the start.

Is Pickett getting most of the snaps with Aidan running out of the wildcat?BoKnows81 wrote: Wed Dec 31, 2025 12:16 pm Vegas Nation’s Vincent Bonsignore believes the Raiders will use “a combination of Kenny Pickett and Aidan O’Connell” in Week 18 against the Chiefs.

I got a feeling we are going to mess up and win this game.
Andy likes to troll us. I can see him not letting us get Fernando.
