Dont know, depends where the lined him up in a 3-4. Dont think he'd play the nose tackle position but play DE. Whoever they lined up next to him as OLB would feast with all the attention Carter would draw.

It may be as simple as not being able to afford all the talent they'll need to sign in the near future.

If Howie Roseman is trying to trade him for a much older player… there’s a reason. If I had to guess… he’s going into the final year of his deal and gonna command a market setting contract. This is a guy that has actually been trending downwards since his rookie season with some openly questioning his motor.

I think a lot of the same questions still exist from the day he was drafted - only now you’re about to spend a lot more to bet on Carter.
