I think it's fair to hope for Rogers to win one of the starting G jobs, but you need competition for him as well. I think it's fair to believe that JPJ is a good starting guard when healthy, but you need depth.
IMO Grant has talent, but should be considered competition or development and more of a Miller future replacement than a 2026 starting RT. So RT is still an issue for me, as is competition and depth at guard.

If we knew how they feel, we would have an idea of what The Raiders will do with the 14th pick.

That line, if Miller is healthy could be outstanding. I want Vega...RI RAIDER wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2026 1:25 pm I would love Miller/Vega/Linderbaum/JPJ/Smith when its all said and done.

So, is drafting Vega at #14 the preferred route now?
I don't have an issue with it, but if there is a playmaker available at WR, such as Lemon, or one of those top defensive players happens to fall to us, I hope they pull the trigger on that player instead... but, that's just me.

Agree here. Let them compete, and they're always great depth at positions of constant need.BoKnows81 wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2026 1:18 pm
60% of our line is established. Still not good enough yet. I now expect one of our top 2 picks to be a right tackle. I know you guys love you some Rogers n Grant but I'm not there yet.

There is a lot of chatter that Ioane isn’t suited for the wide zone. Something to be considered. He lacks lateral agility and is better off going downhill.

Oh, we're trying to compete immediately. Make no mistake. Kolton Miller, JPJ, Tyler Lindenbaum...Raiders are one piece away from having a top 10 OL.

dont forget we need big bodies on teh dline for our 3/4 scheme who's the best dt in this draft, we also need linebackers and a wr 1 still
i dont see us drafting oline in rd one with all of these needs

I'm starting to see a lot of mock drafts having the Raiders taking Sonny Styles LB Ohio St. with the 14th pick
Would he be a good selection at #14? Don't know about him

If Styles is there at 14 and the Raiders pick him, it would likely be the biggest steal in NFL history.ELCAraiderfan wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2026 2:25 pm I'm starting to see a lot of mock drafts having the Raiders taking Sonny Styles LB Ohio St.

I think its a foregone conclusion that we are going OL with the Ravens pick. You have to protect your investments and our OL is FAR from done. You are not wrong about needing a Dline, but that will not start until the 2nd rd (at the earliest).mstrbass2000 wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2026 2:19 pm dont forget we need big bodies on teh dline for our 3/4 scheme who's the best dt in this draft, we also need linebackers and a wr 1 still
