you are harshing my mellowchucker wrote: Fri Mar 13, 2026 6:20 am It's really easy to get too excited and drink too much koolaid because of the players we got in FA, and because Maxx is back on the roster. I do think that the outlook is different than it was a week ago. But we have to cool our jets a bit because there are still growing pains with a first overall pick at QB and with a rebuilt roster after a 3-14 season. Here's a little reality check - don't freak out over losses this year, and don't sweat it if we still have holes this offseason. Just keep Mendoza healthy and let the kid, and the team around him, develop.

#1 pick or not, there's no way this team can be any worse than what I saw last year, esp at the QB position. None.

We're better, and not just at the QB position. IMO 2027 is the beginning. 2026 is the preseason for 2027.BoKnows81 wrote: Fri Mar 13, 2026 6:42 am #1 pick or not, there's no way this team can be any worse than what I saw last year, esp at the QB position. None.
Simply do not understand how so many can be so excited about some college kid who hasn't even sniffed a NFL football?
I know nothing about this guy and neither does anyone else.

So you’re saying we’ll probably end up with Jeremiah Smith. I can stomach that.chucker wrote: Fri Mar 13, 2026 6:20 am It's really easy to get too excited and drink too much koolaid because of the players we got in FA, and because Maxx is back on the roster.
