2026 Draft - Raiders & all teams (April 23-25)
Obvious Mendoza #1 no consideration of trading that pick.
But who you got picks 2 - 4 thats going to help Mendoza.
#2 Raiders should be able to select WR Chris Bell or WR KC Concepcion with our early 2nd.
#3 I forget who it was, but someone here mentioned that the best pure dominant RT coming out of college could be got in the 3rd. And stated hes played his whole career at RT, and not being moved around the line.
Sounds like solid gets
Id hope the rest of the draft is building the trenches, with maybe 1 DB in there
Who else you like ?

I do not know why Emmanuel Pregnon dropped in the draft. He was initially a mid to late 1st rd pick. He slid into the 2nd and had a great combine. If he is there, you run with the pick. Day one starter. He will be one of the BPA's when we pick and plays a huge position of need.

I agree. I think the only difficulty you have in that decision is if Blake Miller is sitting there too.RI RAIDER wrote: Fri Mar 13, 2026 8:43 am I do not know why Emmanuel Pregnon dropped in the draft. We have too many holes on the roster to trade up. We need more draft picks and ive seen analysts say picks 40 -65 is the sweet spot, meaning a lot of players at the 60-65 pick range are as good as the guys at 40HesterLayes wrote: Thu Mar 12, 2026 5:30 pm Any draft capital experts here??
So what would it take besides our second(36) to move into the teens in the first? Preferably to the Rams right before the cocksuckers?

I think in that case Tackle takes priority. Lots of guard options on the team already. Miller, Grant and Glaze are the only tackles. Glaze should be a guard anywayGoodTimeCharlie wrote: Fri Mar 13, 2026 5:03 pm I agree. I think the only difficulty you have in that decision is if Blake Miller is sitting there too.

A true OT prospect (no tweeners or short arms), RB2 who can carry RB1 workloads, another guard for competition/depth, WR with potential. That's the holes on offense IMO. Fernando at #1 is obvious.
If the front office loves Grant there still needs to be depth and competition for the tackle spots, biggest need. Jeanty is the only back on the roster. That just cannot happen. One is none. No third down backs or 4-5 carry a game guys. Get a legit #2/1b back!! Pass catchers is pretty set in my opinion but with all those picks you should get a receiver who has the potential to shine.

Jeanty is a three-down back. His pass catching suprised me last year and we only touched seeing what he do running the ball.
With that said yes. RB2 is a need.
Or as Kubiak calls him, Jeanty's
wing-man.

I will be very upset if Glaze is our RT this year. Looking at Grants tape from the last couple games (Sanjit on youtube broke down his tape) Grant is a much better option over Glaze, and in those games he showed he was better then Meredith, Parham, Cappa on the Oline. I think he has a shot at winning the RT spot. But like you said we are thin at Tackle, and need depth. I would like to see glaze compete with the Guards and best two win. Rogers might beat him out.Goodtimes333 wrote: Sun Mar 15, 2026 9:52 am I think in that case Tackle takes priority. Lots of guard options on the team already. Is that guy from the steelers we just got able to take that role, or is he mainly for FB blocking ?KillerRaider30 wrote: Sun Mar 15, 2026 10:06 am Jeanty is a three-down back. His pass catching suprised me last year and we only touched seeing what he do running the ball.

You think Mendoza has the playbook already?

I don’t know if there any rules preventing that but I doubt it any way. Probably communication through his agent to work on specific things, such as taking snaps under center and the like

I like taking an OT in the 2nd round to compete with Grant. Miller or Iheanachor. The loser of that battle then becomes the backup/depth and the heir apparent to Colton Miller. I also like taking a guard in FA. Teller or Zeitler could be had on a short deal for 10 million or less APY. That will give us the time to properly evaluate whether or not Rogers is a viable option, without being a burden on the cap. It will also allow us to focus on NT in the 3rd round, instead of OG. We could trade up about 10 spots to #56 using our 3rd round pick and a 6th and draft either Christen Miller or Dominique Orange. In the 4th round, I would like to see them go FS, RB and QB. Get a kicker after that.Goodtimes333 wrote: Sun Mar 15, 2026 9:52 am I think in that case Tackle takes priority. Lots of guard options on the team already. Sign Teller. He's better than Meredith, Glaze or Rogers.
Then draft a RT in Round 2.
Problem solved for the short term.

Smawt. I want as many Hoosiers worthy of an NFL roster as we can get. Especially Charlie Becker next year.
