Mandatory Mini Camp June 9th-June 11th
May 18, 20-21, 26, and 28-29, followed by a final session on June 1-4.
These workouts are held at the Intermountain Health Performance Center in Henderson, Nevada.
They serve as the voluntary Phase 3 of the team's offseason program, where 7-on-7, 9-on-7, and 11-on-11 drills are permitted without live contact.
Following OTAs, the Raiders are scheduled to hold their mandatory minicamp from June 6-11.

Maybe but theres also lots of cases where a guy works hard but hes just not that good for whatever reason.16 to 88 wrote: Thu Jun 04, 2026 5:53 pm When it comes to Thornton I'm going with his success or failure will depend a lot on the mental aspect of it all. You hear coaches say playing that position is a lot to learn and to take in for wide receivers coming out of college and that it takes them a while to grasp it all. I would think more so with a change in our offense. He certainly has physically wise, with the height and blazing quickness and top end speed to succeed. But there is more to it than that. Is he busying himself with the playbook and talking to coaches, veteran players like Nailor, Tucker and Dorsett? Is he a first in and last out kinda guy or is he filling his time playing video games and the such?

I'm going with that is fact. If he had my measureables he's not even getting a camp invite.Viper wrote: Fri Jun 05, 2026 9:13 am Thornton probably doesn’t get drafted as early as he did if it wasn’t for his size and speed. Reminds me a lot of Darrius Heyward Bey - exact same speed, just a bit shorter.
When you add Darrius to this, it makes the 4th round much more of a bargain.
That's more where Darrius should have gone.
No doubt Thornton has a lot to do to prove himself, but most young players are in that boat.
Yep, he might not make it.
Yep his college stats aren't special.
It was size/speed... the NFL measurables that are needed that got him the gig.

I think Shedrick Jackson is our diamond in the rough, he shows out every time I see him on the field.

Yeah but he was picked in the 4th..its not as wasted as if he was in the 1st or 2nd. Also, jury is still out on himpfish57 wrote: Fri Jun 05, 2026 5:31 pm Thorton will be lucky to make the practice squad...another wasted pick!!

Who said it was a 1st or 2nd, there a lot of good 4th round players, but you think that way because we have never drafted one other tan Maxx in 25 years LOLALLRAIDERWORLD21 wrote: Fri Jun 05, 2026 5:57 pm Yeah but he was picked in the 4th..its not as wasted as if he was in the 1st or 2nd. Donte Thorton can definately see the field among this current crop of Raider WR's.
It's actually ironic; everyone has so much faith in Tre Tucker as a WR1, ignoring the Browns game where he had ample opportunity to put up superstar numbers and didn't. He was dropping wide open catches that would have given him 300+ yards.
Thorton is a rookie that played well under the circumstances.
Also, I'm already on record stating Mendoza is superior to AOC.
Lastly, Kirk Cousins routinely throwing picks in practice is a very bad sign.

I’d rather think Cousins throwing picks is an indication our secondary is much improved.mranquales wrote: Fri Jun 05, 2026 10:33 pm Donte Thorton can definately see the field among this current crop of Raider WR's.

Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak said WR Tre Tucker has “got to be a playmaker for us,” while discussing Tucker’s role as the wide receiver corps’ “quiet leader.”
Tucker, 25, is now the longest-tenured player in the Raiders’ wide receiver corps. Since being drafted in the 2023 NFL Draft’s third round, Tucker has had four head coaches, seven offensive coordinators, three wide receiver coaches and seven different starting quarterbacks. He has never cleared 700 yards in a single season, but his offensive environment has been a factor. Per Kubiak, Raiders receivers will line up all over the formation, as the X, Z and slot. Last year, Tucker ran 83.2 percent of his routes from the perimeter. Adding interior usage will benefit him. Although TE Brock Bowers will operate as the clear-cut No. 1 pass catcher, Tucker could warrant FLEX treatment if he can secure the No. 2 pass-catcher role/No. 1 wide receiver role this summer.

We need a #1 WR BAD.....If we did not have BB (who is the equivalent of a #1), I would say we also need a #2. BB is still an unstoppable force. Can you imagine if he had help.

Our #1 pass catcher is Bowers, and anything else is not even close.
