Who gives a f*ck about USA Today. The fact that they have us as bad as last year's embarrassment when we upgraded basically everywhere shows their credibility.

For the national media bad teams will continue to be bad until they are not, there's no real analysis in the article just guesses. This isnt the nfl from 20/30 years ago, there is always a few teams that emerge from the pack of last years bad teams. Not saying the Raiders will be one of them, I actually dont care what their record is just long as I see improvement.

It's lazy journalism. Anyone not expecting some sort of improvement, even record wise, is nuts. We play the Dolphins, Jets, Titans, Browns and Saints. All should be wins. And we are not going winless in our division. Its only happened twice in the last 20 years and this team is significantly better than those two Raider teams.tatalalicious wrote: Fri Aug 07, 2026 7:20 am For the national media bad teams will continue to be bad until they are not, there's no real analysis in the article just guesses. Whatever.
We suck until we don't, but the prediction of three wins means they didn't bother looking at some teams. They were probably out getting drunk and had to meet a deadline by the next morning.

The team player wise has improved. The team coaching wise has improved dramatically. Three wins? GTFOH

In fairness everyone thought the Raiders would improve under Pete instead of McDaniels/Pierce.BoKnows81 wrote: Fri Aug 07, 2026 3:32 am Who gives a f*ck about USA Today. The fact that they have us as bad as last year's embarrassment when we upgraded basically everywhere shows their credibility.
I don't expect 3 wins but they gotta prove it on the field.

Correct. It really doesn’t matter what they say. But, I wish I could bet them on that. I’d bet the house on it. Easy money lol (likely lol)BoKnows81 wrote: Fri Aug 07, 2026 3:32 am Who gives a f*ck about USA Today. Not everyone. Def not me. I hated the Pete signing bc it was clear that the game passed him by.DeathStar24 wrote: Fri Aug 07, 2026 8:22 am In fairness everyone thought the Raiders would improve under Pete instead of McDaniels/Pierce.
